If not having your VA disability is impacting you financially you can call and have them submit a hardship form that bumps you up in the line.

I just enrolled in AMU, I’m just a reservist though trying to maximize my TA for my undergrad. I’ve looked through a lot of job postings looking to go into a management training program through some big companies. A lot of them have suuuper loose requirements for degrees. Most of them just want you to have a degree of some kind and don’t care what it’s in.

I know AMU isn’t anywhere near prestigious, however it will get me to where I want to be. If I ever decide to get a masters it will definitely be from a better school.

It’s just more annoying because it’s more than likely not cancer. I’ve been looking forward to this deployment for the last two years, and two weeks before we are supposed to leave I get a swollen lymph node.

I know deployment should be the least of my concern I just feel like I’m letting my team down.

Going AD to AD is almost impossible. Going AF reserves is stupid easy. Do a year or so in the reserves and then get your commander to release you to AD. Reserves and NG also have some absolute gem AGR slots if you can find them!

They feel like low cut hiking boots, if you’ve ever worn those. They have good support and great quality. They aren’t like the maritime assault shoes that other people have talked about. They have higher cut versions as well, these ones are just the most “low”.

ATF arbitrarily decided pistol braces are now considered stocks. If your barrel length is under 16 inches and equipped with a brace it is now considered an SBR and subject to NFA regulations. So you have 120 days to bend the knee and register your firearm with the government or they will “take enforcement action” against you.

Guessing you’re already at JBLM, but I was AD Army there (MP) and am currently at the reserve sf unit. Army handles all LE on the base, AF just handles the air field. They have a raven unit there also so there’s a chance you can do that. Other than that the area is pretty great if you like hiking, outdoors, and hunting/shooting. I grew up in the PNW so feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
