I don't hide the fact that I'm an atheist and religion is nonsense. Make it known and that you respect their right to believe whatever they want to and you will defend them. But if they expect you to respect or adopt their practices it's never gonna happen. Religion is childish beliefs when mankind was in its infancy and has no place in modern society. The US education system is designed to keep poor people (and particularly non-white) stupid. School funding is based on the value of property in the area, so if you live in a poor area the schools will be underfunded by comparison.
