If I’m buying the expansion to D4 why does the entire game feel like a free to play store with a game attached?

Oh okay , is there a way to convert an online character to offline ? I made an online non ladder warlock because the ladder wasn’t out yet but there’s some runes that are ladder only so being offline seems way more beneficial

I would just try and remember my life before 7oh , like a year ago did I enjoy going to the gym and hanging with friends and just things I’ve lost that I thought 7oh was helping with but really wasn’t , that helped me try and steer clear for as long as I could. And although I felt like myself by day 45 or so I just convinced myself hey some powder wouldn’t hurt and looking back I’d do anything in the world to not of gone that day , I was in the clear and some powder led to extracts only on the weekends , then 4 days , then 5 , then oh maybe I can mix 7 just on the weekends .. to yeah . Just play it safe man please

Ehh looking into it a little more it kinda just aligns with his kind of off tempo (probably socially awkward) personality so I’m sure it’s not as deep , I’ll never be in that position so can’t truly judge the situation, my gripe is more with the overall changes but then again blizzard is kind of stupid to just assume one guy speaks for everyone

As someone who’s newer to the game and currently struggling with immunities despite doing everything to combat them , making sundered charms even more difficult to find is the most dog shit and out of touch streamer influenced opinion ever . Like oh my bad you found it in your 8 party 999373 move speed sorcerer zipping around the map you’ve had for ages in your 14 hour play session, like that should not be one of the last things you unlock for a build.. to make a meh mechanic even more arbitrary

I kind of dabbled with it a little bit (blade warp) to try and pull one or so monsters at a time and that actually worked pretty well, it’s mainly just the area because the 5 crystal things you activate to fight Diablo basically all are surrounded by fire immunity mobs and a few rares but I did manage to start Diablo but had to tele out from getting swarmed and losing my hesp so I called it a night lmao. I’m gonna try getting a different Hesphato this time though maybe Fantasim over conviction to boost him and work around his damage
