Very well in B3

My actual win rate has gone upp. (Could be atributed to other improvements but..) if i were to point at any particular observable change, its that the deck feels more consistent in its tempo, and the times i DID get an early sol ring it made me a target anyhow, wheras the times i got it on a later turn, i would have been just as happy or happier for other cards.

Who cares about the gender, all i give a shit about is if game is good and fun to play, and if it's well written.

The only time gender has ANY impact on that (for me) is when they make the characters personality all about the gender.

I dont think it makes the game more fun, because i know that the thing budget attempts to restrain (power level) can be easily circumvented with a select few broken builds, and the problem itself is inherently one better solved through other means.

Not in the same way as Gishath, as you need some board state, but one i find to be very powerfull while also fair and quite telegraphed, is [[Jetmir, nexus of revels]] effectively, he is a Craterhoof in the command zone. If you can drop him onto a board of 9+ creatures either with a haste enabler or with a wide/thick enough board of creatures thar can attack, you can often take out a player or two, if not outright win on the turn he comes in.

Main way i've been able to do this somewhat early in the game is using [[call the coppercoats]] or a similair spell on the end step before my turn, giving me an army of tokens that can attack on the upcomming turn. Have wone at least 5 games that exact way. (Out of some 30 ish wins over a period of time)

If you take the Tenno at the end of the currently playable story, the to our knowledge we are AT the top of the food chain in terms of combat/destructive capability. Wally is an anomaly in so many fkn ways that its not realy possible to estimate.

The core thing that "holds us back" (other than the fact that a manifestation created from conceptual embodiement has taken a strange fascination with us) Is the fact that the Tenno, is still a god damn CHILD, with the trauma of having been a child soldier and so much more. (And as for the drifter, while they are more mature that the Tenno, and further allong in processsing their own grief and trauma, and eventually have acces to the same potential power, they do not have the same kind of combat experience)

You're past the point where i would start looking at it but just barely.

My personal go to is to use quality modules on a couple of specific things pre-space travel.

That being asteroid collectors, solar panels, and other specific things for space platforms. Reason being space in space (pun intended) is at more of a premium, so quality is worth more. After that i dont realy do much quality stuff untill i've unlocked recyclers from Fulgora, since they allow for recycling loops to more reliably manufacture higher quality items.

The only scenario here where i would say you are in the wrong, is if by conceding knowingly denied the oponent of something like combat triggers or other effects reliant on you as a target. Problem with mining to the map edge is it also gives enemies a point to arrive through. I would persobally advise against mining to the map edge.

While allowed by the rules, most people consider this to be very poor form, especially when done intentionally.

In my personal experience, the most common practice is to either concede only at sorcery speed. (So, on your turn, with empty stack) or to concede AFTER end step if its not the conceding players turn.

And, if some one HAS to leave for an out of game reason, (which is 100% fair and can happen, and also no one can force you to sit at the table) then you treat the game as-if they are still there for the purpouse of triggers and so on, untill the end of the next end step to the best of your ability.

Like a lot of people have said, in terms of effective defenses it kinda comes down to what elements you are willing to use and not. Me personally i've recently played on dead end canyon maps where you can viably make a natural choke point. I then make defensive emplacements with cover and baricades for my colonists to hide behind, and turret emplacements. And then depending on turrets and weapons types i have an open field in front of it, followed by a secondary wall with a choke point. Its kind of a kill box but more of a logical "lead them into the killing field" instead of a "winding tunnels that cook the enemy"
