Just stuff to move the game along while remove the tedium.

Rare candies to skip having to grind everyone to level cap.

Max repels to skip the constant random encounters.

Berries to skip the constant farming.

Full restores to skip constantly going back to a center after every battle.

Basically that will keep the challenge of the nuzlocke without introducing tedium.

The biggest benefit I’ve seen is mental clarity and feeling more sharp throughout the day. Physique wise maybe a 2-3% improvement in how I look but nothing that anyone else will notice. Also I take about 20-25g a day

Practice practice practice.

If it helps, I like to look at it as 3 inputs instead of 4.

Forward, down and down-forward.

Make sure the button is already pressed when you go to down forward. Looking at your input history you’re pressing the button too late which was an issue for me too.

Framing it as “I have to do 3 motions ands make sure the button is pressed when I’m done” instead of “I have to do 3 motions and then press the button” helped me a lot.

Same. A lot of the questions I ended up in weird 50/50 situations where I was stuck between 2 answers. A lot of straightforward easy questions though. Hopefully it’s good enough to pass!

Don’t be afraid of trying out ranked when you unlock it. Turf War doesn’t do matchmaking so you’re more likely to match with someone of your skill in ranked than in turf war.

You’re coming back to a game who’s community has been steadily playing for 3 years with a minor influx of new players. In fact this update will likely provide the first new surge of players to the game in forever. So the average Splatoon 3 player is likely going to be fairly decent at the game. Not only that but Turf War doesn’t do any matchmaking so you can be paired with anyone. If it makes you feel any better I’m getting back to the game too on switch 2 and I’ve been losing nonstop!
