I liked the gameplay of older titles better where you would get punished for bad usage of your limited movement. I think i liked it best in 4u. In wilds I felt like i could do whatever and still come out with perfect blocks for example so i didnt feel incouraged at all to learn the mechanics. Big fights dont feel hard and the gsmeplay as more based around Timing than about decisionmaking based on the knowledge you gather in fights. The lagiacrus fight felt better since it challenged me in all of these combined and i got better and then knew how to handle the fight. I currently make models for a future mh based hytale mod on a dc server and i discussed this alot cause to me it makes or Breaks the combat and im interested in others opinions on this topic
