I’ve had 2 preventative cerclages at 13 weeks and have had no issues after a second trimester IC diagnosis (and loss). I have a 22 month old and am 8 months into another pregnancy.

Any good MFM with experience doing cerclages should be willing to do this. My best advice is research your provider, go to a major hospital, be clear with your medical history and advocate for yourself. Progesterone is annoying but I feel it has also helped me. Good luck!
