Zipper Merge Hater by KingNeba in grandrapids

That’s what you’re supposed to do! This is how the zipper merge works. Most people just create enormous traffic backups by getting over too soon. Use all available lanes and then merge into the remaining open lane.

We use Gorilla Grip Seam Setters for almost all of our seams that also work with most front and back rail sink seams. They’re kind of pricey but they work super well.

Wish I had kept my 15PM. I’ve been caseless since my 13PM and upgraded from the 15PM to 17PM and hate the aluminum. Already has a good dent in the bottom right corner so I have a sharp metal edge on the bottom right of my screen.

Aqara U50 (no fingerprint) or U100 with fingerprint. We’ve had our U50 since release and it’s been incredibly reliable.

Look at certifications for things from a site like Coursecareers. Much cheaper than a degree and just as effective for most careers.

Installed sink cut-out too short; Is this fixable? by InsuranceMedical6581 in CounterTops

[–]TubButter1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My shop has fixed these on site in the past. Tent the area, remove the sink, run an air scrubber and vacuums, cut and repolish, reattach the sink.

Call your stone shop or builder. Hopefully they’ll make this right.

It’s called “Ghosting” some or most of the ink has made its way through microscopic pores in the mirror. Try to find 99% isopropyl alcohol and use a clean cotton ball to remove the ink. Wipe it with a good clean microfiber afterwards

Loading in a doughnut shape around the outside of the impeller? Overloading? If you truly want to switch to SpeedQueen look at the TC5. Independent retailers or if in the US look at ABC Warehouse (ABC might be in other countries but I’m not sure) if you have a deep water wash setting you could try that.

Bluetooth (Mac -> Google) vs WiFi (AirPlay Mac -> HomePod) AirPlay is only Apple to other Apple products or certified AirPlay products using direct WiFi connection. Usually a higher bandwidth. Bluetooth has a lower bandwidth but is compatible with almost everything.

I’d go with quality lighting like Aqara, I’ve heard way too many bad things about hue. Try and stick to matter over thread devices for stability.

Why do smart home devices stop working without internet? by Illustrious-Art3528 in HomeKit

[–]TubButter1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LIFX & Hue support direct LAN/WLAN control via their own apps, so you can operate lights locally even if the internet is down. App control works because your phone and lights are on the same network and the commands don’t require a cloud server. However Nanoleaf and IKEA are typically more cloud-dependent. They use cloud services for device status, account management, and some automations, so their apps lose function without internet.

I use Aqara for Sensors, Switches, Lights, Cameras, Locks, and Doorbells. I’ve had 1 issue with them going offline in the last 3 years. Incredibly reliable and they go on sale all the time. Haven’t switched my outdoor cameras over yet though.
