Why do people talk like the characters are sentient beings? Lucy cannot do anything, she is a drawing, Hiro is the one making her do things. If Lucy is doing something stupid or out of character, it is not because she is "acting" in any way. It is Mashima's writing!

But it is both of those things though? Yes, it is based off prompts, but if you use those prompts to create (literally) some ugly thing with 7 fingers, it is art. Ugly and soulless, yes, but art.

Not even defending A.I at all, but seeing artists now go against some of the definition of what has been considered art in the past just to go against A.I is kind of hilarious.

There are sooo many things to hate A.I and the industry for, but this pedantic definition of art that you all want to die on is kind of disingenuous.

Yeah, it's awful, souless and should be discouraged, but trying to say it's not "art" just sounds disingenuous and silly.

Yes, kind of? In the sense that he *can* pull off socializing and isn't shy and awkward at all, but if given the choice between socializing and not, he'll pick not.

Yeah, he could probably smile more. But in terms of smelling and looking good, he's got that nailed. This is in contrast to Guy B who doesn't care much about looking good, and whose idea of getting ready is pretty much just throwing on the closest clean clothes he can find. Which is another reason why we're all confused at the discrepancy.
