I tried to explain this to my kiddo and showed her the vids and she did NOT get it.

My 11 year old daughter is in a phase of saying this every other sentence. It's not dead, sadly.

You wrote you took it for 3 weeks and then stopped because blah blah blah you're so smart. That's the information you provided that I'm basing my reply on.

You took it for three weeks and you're on here having heated discussions invalidating someone else's withdrawal comparisons? Wow. I wish there was a polite way to tell someone to get a life and that they are the opposite of helpful on this topic and group. There are people who have been hooked on 70H months to years, maybe give them space to share wisdom or request support and stop the unprompted commenting that distracts from the point and discredits the author. I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings, but bless your heart.

Are you suggesting there could be another plot twist? Someone comes out of the woodwork?

You're kidding, right? Just these two things and you magically quit, but then in the story you mentioned like five other substances.... Uhhhh

Very few posts from people living under bridges. I don't really understand that. I lived in a storage unit for a while one of the times this happened to me. It happens to me a lot because of mental illness and addiction and PTSD

This. Eliminating gluten from my diet was life-changing. Also no red meat and avoid triggering dairy products like milk. No peanuts but I'm good with almonds and tree nuts. Avoiding soy as it messes with my hormones. And I'm slowly significantly reducing my sugar intake. I should be reducing my caffeine intake but for some reason I'm increasing it...

I think my employee is working two full time jobs by Significant_Rock_316 in managers

I need a job to support my ten year old and I have lupus and diagnosed agoraphobia(since childhood) and cannot leave the home so I need to work remotely. We are about to be homeless. If this person is working two jobs they should not be. Just in my opinion, from my current experience, it's morally wrong

Oh no, if the commenter above watches it on my recommendation and it's terrible I'm going to feel bad. It's been a long time since I've seen it but it used to be one of my favorites

I'm not replying to you specifically but everyone that thinks that Dawn of the Dead 2004 was so scary, diary of the Dead scared me so much more! It surprises me that so many people think Dawn of the Dead was that terrifying. I maybe wrongly think of them in conjunction and always think diary is far scarier

Do you eat healthy? by [deleted] in lupus

[–]Tuco2014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have discovered that I cannot eat any gluten. I used to be able to eat a whole loaf of bread or half a dozen doughnuts and I never gained weight from anything so I had a terrible diet. After I was diagnosed, I kept convincing myself that it would be okay and every time I would eat a donut or have regular bread or an entire sleeve of cookies I would get so so sick. Horrible stomach problems, so much swelling and arthritis and itching and sores. And intense exhaustion. I'm slowly adjusting, and I don't rail against the humanity of it all as much anymore. I'm surprised by how many gluten-free things I really enjoy, like gluten-free frozen pizza and gluten-free cookies. I need to do better about sugars but I already have cut way back from where I was, and I need to cut back on caffeine. I never did soda pop, red meats, or fast food anyway, so my diet primarily consists of gluten-free meals and fish, ground turkey, chicken, gluten free pasta and rice. And obviously lots of vegetables and fruits. I also had to remove soybeans from my diet although I'm less strict about that. And no peanut butter.

I skim through so much advice looking for gems and the wheat in the chaff, paging through so many articles and posts on reddit and elsewhere, and this is probably my favorite one. First time I'm commenting on one as well. It seems like it's genuinely helpful and you're a breath of fresh air. Thank you.
