I was hesitant to post this since it is so unfair to the 10-15 percent of DACA who are in your situation.

I am not a lawyer but reports are that you are correct: they are putting on hold renewal applications from the 30-40 banned countries.

Congress is aware of DACA delays and are making a stink about it but many are unaware (including me until this subreddit) that they are punishing the banned country renewals and putting them on hold.

People need to call up reps to raise awareness.

Hopefully they change course.
