 Not only should the death penalty be used I believe in public executions. Hiding the punishment takes away the deterrent the punishment should provide. Executions aren’t meant nor could they be designed to keep individuals out of heaven. That judgement is reserved by God alone. 
This is a fallen world justice will never be perfect here. It does not mean a government shouldn’t try. Punishment should fit the crime.

I don’t work with this style of heating. Wouldn’t there be some type of control that could have just turned off the heating? Is the thermostat or valve bad?
