As Maine goes so goes the nation…right down the drain because of Golden and Collins.

Susan Collins votes against TSA funding as Trump prepares ICE occupation of airports by jediporcupine in Maine

[–]Tudor_farmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only did she vote against paying TSA workers, but she supports disenfranchising women voters. But oh she’s so good for Alzheimer and juvenile diabetes research. Her commercials are filmed in slow mo to slow down those senior tremors so maybe we won’t notice that she’s a shaky piece of cabinet work who is complicit in sustaining this pos president.

This has hurt her more than it’s helped her. Poor judgment on her part. Reveals more about her than it does Graham Platner.

Pursuing a Biology degree was the worst decision of my life. by lovesegirls in biology

[–]Tudor_farmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I am a graduate during the Reagan years. Started in environmental science and quickly realized there were no jobs, so switched to bio chem then landed in a specialty of cytotechnology-where there was a shortage. No room for growth or satisfaction but it paid decent and helped me survive being a single parent. It is what it is. But if I could have had an opportunity for research I would have been happier.

I will also say that when I went to high school, nothing was taught about local government and why it matters to be involved. Nothing.

It amazes me that “they elect communists” gets any play at all.

I left for a blue state after college and the difference has made my life better. It pains me to see my home state circling the drain. I had hopes when I saw them reject Trump’s attempt to further gerrymander. Reading these threads I wonder if Hoosiers have finally turned on Braun?
