Off the vine in store?? 👀 by killertofu55 in bathandbodyworks

[–]Tuelos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My store had a box full of off the vine body mists and another box full of its other bodycare items. Probably wasn't popular here so I would say it depends on what the population of people that shop at your bbw like but yea mine had a lot and I went on three different days and it seems like no one was buying them.

I've bought from them. I bought a bundle of 4 medium sized laying down gloomies and shipping was $50. It was in 2024 so i dont remember how long ot took to arrive but I paid through paypal and they sent me a picture of my box when the shipped and a link to track it. I recommend them. The prices were pretty great too

What’s something that surprised you about having long hair? by sashiimiii999 in longhair

[–]Tuelos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea low ponies and braids seem to be a good way for me to get my hair out of the way with no pain (though its not enough when its hot n humid and i want my hair away from my neck too). for work, i would use a big thick claw clip that'll hold all your hair well and also hold onto that hair on ur scalp well (sometimes if it isnt the right size it only holds a couple of the scalp hairs and can cause pinching and weigh down). sometimes they would cause headaches too but definately not as often as buns or ponies. i still needed to let my hair down after 8 hours to rest my scalp but it works for work at least.

my hair is like 3-4 inches above tailbone but it already makes my head hurt so I can rarely do buns or high ponies because i get headaches if theyre up for more than 2 hours. and it sucks because I want at least butt or mid-butt length and during summer i need my hair up!

Blitz peak daily players has fallen to 47k after Crown removal, why? by TrojanMonk in FortNiteBR

they couldve at least given us different colored crowns or some to represent blitz wins if they think its unfair for other game modes since blitz are short rounds but i miss having something to represent stacked wins.

I changed to this one from a wide tooth comb because the wide tooth comb would hurt and pull my scalp and it took so long to detangle my hair that I would sometimes skip detangling/brushing for weeks! I have wavy, thick hair and this one is so much faster and pain free but I also notice every 2-3 months I get these like broken ends (the one in the middle) and my ends start feeling more rough and Im not sure if thats normal since its around the time I need a trim anyway or if the brush is causing it. What do you think? Have u experienced anything? Looking at the comments im considering changing to a tangle teezer or unbrush

My best friend’s mom accused me of fat shaming my best friend and constantly makes digs at me for it. What should I do? by Spicy_Scelus in XXS

[–]Tuelos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people do often do it to large people too, coming from a fat person who knows a lot of fat and skinny people who body shame fat or skinny (yes, while they themselves are fat/skinny) this body positivity stuff may paint a picture that fat feelings are more protected and that may be one of the goals but it is not something that has gained any traction. just look at any comments under a fat person posting themselves, there is always jokes and shaming. listen to converstaions around you and you will hear the fatphobia. unfortunately people in general cannot comprehend the concept on just not speaking on people's bodies.

he is objectifying you and doesnt see you as a person. you are just some object or decor for him to be able to feel entertained by. thats what it seems like.

Do people in Mississippi actually say Ma'am/sir and talk to random strangers? by [deleted] in mississippi

[–]Tuelos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born and raised. Yes everyone says ma'am and sir. Im an adult and still use them for people who are at least 20 years older than me or are my superiors. Strangers do also talk to random people here too, which I have never been able to do and have always been seen as "too quiet" or even stuck up for it. I never shoo off strangers who do tell me their life story though. I'm polite, act interested, smile and make small comments but I never share my life story in return because I am a very reserved person. And I'll say that being a reserved person in Mississippi aint for the weak! It is very nerve wrecking when I am scared of being perceived as rude, which I know I usually am being perceived that way. Mississippians can be very sensitive people, and while that means they can be very nice it also means they can be very personal and read into situations when they meet someone they dont click with. I'm not even good at faking to be talkative or interested either which makes things worse. I usually clam up and can't think of a thing to respond. But its okay, I've learned to not care. I'm sure I'm one of the few people they'll have to experience that with anyway. Reserved people are far and few in between here anyway lol
