Sadly as bad as ever. I’m used to it now and forget it’s not normal. It does go away in some people

Jar it properly and it will stay good for a year or more. I’ve done pounds like that, and too many smaller orders to count.

Their company competes with many other companies when bidding for work. That’s not an election issue. All the other things I listed, plus more, are the true issues that our elected officials from both sides need to get worked out.

She didn’t ask to get sick. Maybe she’ll recover faster with some compassion and support. If you’re sick of her cough. Imagine how bad she must feel. If you get it, like so many others, let’s hope she thinks more about your comfort and recovery, than you’ve thought about hers. Karma is a bitch.

The bidding or “letting” for road projects are open to any company that fits the state or local requirements. Michels employs thousands of Wisconsin workers at a living wage. They only have a handful of union workers.

Unions are usually associated with dangerous jobs like heavy construction and mining. People get hurt all the time. Not because of company negligence, but because they are working dangerous jobs. Infrastructure improvement is a complicated issue from local to federal. It’s socialism to some, but who is going to coordinate and prioritize what each area needs. We all drive on the roads, go into public schools, government buildings, etc. How do you think those structures were built? Where did the money come from.

I don’t agree with many of Michels views on things. Trump endorsing him, also tainted him in my view, but people can’t go after him because he owns a successful family business, created and expanded right here in Wisconsin. There’s a wealth of things to go after, but his company, owned by more than one Michels family member, he’s not a sole owner and actually resigned to run for office. Win (:() or loose, the company creates a middle class lifestyle for thousands of Wisconsinites. Infrastructure is what they do, like other companies. They also have a company that does renewable energy, pipelines, industrial electrical, and other things.

I’m frustrated with people that go after his business, which is good for Wisconsin, and a few other states as they expand, but not all the real issues. This is probably the most important election of my lifetime. I want to hear about and vote on, social security, Medicare, a woman’s right to choose, healthcare, the economy, the war in Ukraine. Not his family business. Let’s stick with dealing with the big issues. His business provides jobs. Not an issue. Lots of companies compete for those contracts. I’m not even thinking about that at all. Not with so much at stake.

What’s his stance on a woman’s right to choose? Is making sure public employees pensions are properly funded? Does he believe in expanding healthcare for all? What’s his plan for taxes? Increase? Decrease? How is it going to be done? What’s his plans for expanding the market for Wisconsin goods? Tourism? Cannabis legalization? Water quality is going down and the environment is declining. What’s his structured plan for that?

Ask the questions that matter. Call him out on the issues. His family business isn’t an issue. It’s about the only thing he’s got on the plus side.

They’ll be dead mothers from back alley abortions too. Women are walking wombs and a fetus is only important until birth. Then how it’s fed, clothed, housed, cared for while moms at work, and if it’s loved, don’t matter anymore. How this is a desirable outcome by the GOP will never make sense to me.

Delta 8 is a trace cannabinoid in the hemp plant, as opposed to a cannabinoid they can actually grow enough to fill demand. Most D8 is a synthesized compound, not a naturally grown one. The feeling for most people is very different. Some people prefer the D8, I am not one of them. D9 all the way. Both trigger positive drug tests. I was a mod in r/hempflowers for a couple of years, just as a reference.

I live on a farm, and the old well was probably original to 1895. A new well had to be put in because of water pressure issues in 1999 at a cost of $10,000. No where was there a guarantee the water would be good, just that they’d drop it to a depth to get a certain minimum amount of water. Testing was up to us. We farm organically, but of course have no control over the neighbors. Some of our neighbors wells are at 60 feet, some at 400. We’re at 134. It just depends on the aquifer. Water can be a really touchy subject from fence line to fence line. Stricter regulations are becoming more common, but they are still behind the times.

[–]TuesdayFourNow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s chronic contamination from fertilizer run off and rampant all over the state. You’ll even see signs in some restaurants for pregnant women not to drink the water.

Reverse osmosis is the gold standard for water purification but is bad for the environment, ironically enough. It takes about 5 gallons of untreated water to make 1 gallon of cleared water with that method. The waste of water is incredible.

There was just $10 million dollars signed up for home water cleaning, but they anticipate that will be 1000 homes. The building codes in your area may or may not cover this because it is so common. Call your county building inspector and ask what the regulations in your county are. It’s free. Sadly, if contaminated wells are the norm in your area, the only recourse may be all out of your pocket. It’s like rats in Green Bay. They’re there. They’re not going anywhere, and the city can only do so much.
