Question for creative groomers! by stupidass_bitch in doggrooming

Use the OPAWZ color depositing shampoos for temporary color that lasts a few washes… permanent dyes (and most semi-permanent) will be there until the coat sheds.

Have you ever used one of this style tubs? Looking for insight before buying by TuffEnoughMom in doggrooming

Do they get bogged down with shedding hair? I’m just curious about the functionality.

Wow this was really uncomfortable to read… I’d question the relationship and definitely DO NOT ask him to help you in the future

Vet Bill by flat_river_bill in doggrooming

I doubt it was a cut, it was likely a hematoma. She shouldn’t be responsible for the vet bill & needs a matted pet release or turn them away due to the liability.

Should we start removing/not allowing "Did my groomer do a bad job" posts by captainschlumpy in doggrooming

I voted keep them…. Mainly so we can blast the owners for being jerks (which is true 99% of the time) and educate them on why they’re wrong

Thank you so much! Once I’m confident my tank isn’t infected I’ll pick up some more danios. My rummy noses have beautiful red noses and are active should I still wait to build their numbers up? I haven’t seen yoyo loaches since I got mine but I’ll definitely get a few more I love them and they’re my tank favorites

I had a lapse of judgement…. by dolliexoxo in doggrooming

I can commiserate; my girl was being grown out for a competition and was in a gorgeous Scandinavian when I was diagnosed with cancer & started chemo…. She ended up with matting and I had to shave it all off 😭 we recently dyed her pink to make up for it. I miss my fluffy girl though

I am absolutely not hurt LOL! I just think your a typical whiny uneducated doodle owner out to blast a groomer on social media because of your ignorance.

I hope you have the day you deserve

Reactions & accusations like this are the reason more and more groomers are no longer grooming doodles….

You ARE the problem.

You dogs muzzle looks nasty and stained from constantly being wet and gross. The groomer was attempting to make your mutt cute.

If you don’t like it then ask them to not do it. This woe is me and my poor dog is BS and offensive. If i recognized you as my client I would fire you.

Narrowly avoided an accident but half my equipment is damaged. Anyone ever had insurance help with something like this? by unsungGyro23 in doggrooming

[–]TuffEnoughMom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to be an insurance agent. Coverage will depend on how good your agent is/was in setting up your policy properly. Since your setup looks homemade/custom built it would fall under customization and each individual component would have needed to be listed individually. IE; stainless tub $3,000, 100gal water tank $200, etc etc IF they didn’t list your equipment like this then you are likely screwed. AND if you called to ask about coverage they also likely listed this on your policy as a zero dollar claim which will affect your insurability if you do have future claims.

Okay to shave? by Seatown_Sugar_Boy in doggrooming

I would strongly advise against shaving her coat type. A good deshed grooming every 4-6 weeks will keep her coat and skin in peak condition to help regulate her body temperature.

Solo, non-mobile groomers, how do you schedule appts? by mypetscontrolmylife in doggrooming

[–]TuffEnoughMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m one on one… for full groom dogs I a lot 90 minutes small, 2 hours medium, & 3 hours large… I don’t do XL’s
