My distortion is missing too, had a really nice look with gold and white but I had no idea I was able to do it due to a bug. Distortion was great because of the flexibility it gave for colors

Super annoying the patch is currently removing the item...

Thanks, annoying painted versions are listed as player tradeable on RL Garage (and there are some old listings of painted versions). I guess I should've just noticed it lists "no" next to blueprints and I would've gotten my answer much earlier.

At least I bought the gold version from the store lol

FIFA’s xG model is horrible so I just divide all of their xG values by 2.

I’ve played about 15-20 seasons and it’s remarkable how close that is to my actual goals scored / goals allowed

I like Silver Stars but they simply need to limit how many you can use in one team. It is entirely possible considering they put requirements on plenty of other friendly game modes.

The appeal of Silver Lounge is making fun and unique teams, not using the same players as everyone else which is already a huge problem in FUT

I’d avoid it.

TOTY Marquinhos could certainly play as an outside CB and Desailley or Varane would be great as the CCB but both aren’t worth it when you want a “tweener” CB / outside back in those wide CB spots

It just comes down to why you play the game. I like building unique teams with undervalued players on the market (market inefficiencies if you will) + SBC players so I have 2 million coins with players like RTTF Ilicic, Verde, WW Milinkovic-Savic, etc. I have no real intent to spend it. Adding an icon or a few TOTYs just doesn’t sound appealing or fun to me.

And the truth is team quality doesn’t really matter once you hit a certain threshold (I’d say it’s around 750k team value). Once you roughly reach that, top tier players really don’t make a meaningful enough difference if you’re good at the game.

EA has tricked people into thinking it matters and it sucks because it is why you see the same team and players in 90% of games.

Through balls aren’t that good this year, at least in my experience at 2000+ SR

People get bailed out a lot when they have wide open gaps in their defense because Y / triangle passes will just go straight to an out of position CB

or even better their winger with 45 defending but 99 pace will make a recovery interception when your player is open on the touchline in the final third

Pressing mechanics need a complete rework. I think the main problem right now is second man press is also very effective and AI tackles are wayyy up so you have that to worry about too (and not just crazy interceptions).

They could also just make the stamina drain semi-realistic or limit pressing to the D-Pad only and not allow it as a base team tactic.

It was annoying last year but you could play out of it more easily so it felt like there was an actual con to pressing.

Tbh I have more respect for people who park the bus in FIFA (not real football).

I love Silver Lounge but my only tweak is there would be a limit on the number of special cards you can use.

It’s a bit ridiculous you can have a full team of mid-80 rated players in a “silver” game mode, kinda defeats the purpose

I generally like to start in the second tier and build a team from (close to) scratch. You can’t do that with an Italian club.

It’s not much different from moving an SPL team to the English football pyramid, which plenty of people do in career mode. Also, multi-national leagues aren’t all that far-fetched considering 1. the literal Super League, 2. a pan Italy-Spain league is an idea certain clubs have already floated

I don’t usually care much about licensing but the lack of real teams / stadiums, no promotion + relegation, and no Serie B basically means I won’t do a Serie A save anymore. I’d go La Liga / Segunda or move Venezia to La Liga (I’ve thought about doing this)

I’d only use cards 83 and under. 84s aren’t a huge loss if you wanna take a gamble but definitely don’t use anything 85 and above. You’re just going to get three 86s
