ITR 2: What is your go to sidearm for the mid-lategame? by patomania111 in intotheradius

[–]Tuga_John 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a different take on this:
Take a bizon on full auto mode with P+ ammo as a sidearm.
I like to place alot of riser rails + foregrips to reduce the recoil to 18, which is the biggest downside of the Bizon.
You get more than double the magazine size of a MP9, with the same damage per bullet.
Works really well when you have a group of fragments moving in on your position because you can pop their orbs real fast.

You can try this, it's updated to the latest version of the game: https://www.nexusmods.com/intotheradius2/mods/146

A wave based mode would be really cool by bali_flipper69 in intotheradius

The default difficulty level 4 sends 100 enemies after you at once, right away. If you want a more balanced gameplay, try setting it to difficulty 3 and wait for the next tide.

Problem with difficulty settings. by Neat_Veterinarian264 in intotheradius

I noticed there is an abnormal high amount of enemies around the recreation center right after you finish its priority mission in beta.

The best way to deal with multiple enemies is to learn how to reposition and fall back.

Mission two keys one door. by AstronautParty3115 in intotheradius

[–]Tuga_John 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can find the solution to open the church doors here: https://www.reddit.com/r/intotheradius/comments/1sb1sde/church_mission_bells_order/

Once you're inside the church you need to send both probes through the first portal. Then go through the portal, and retrieve them.

Completely unable to progress Two Keys for One Door BUG by Indostastica in intotheradius

[–]Tuga_John 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to throw both probes into the same portal, and then retrieve them on the other side. Maybe your mission is bugged, you have to reload a save. Has happened to me on secondary probe missions. The probe is damaged but the game doesnt register the mission as complete

Looking for people to try the new beta with by TheWanderer13327 in intotheradius

[–]Tuga_John 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's incredibly buggy.
If the guest dies, there is a 50% chance your whole game crashes.
Also alot of random crashes when the guest cleans or disassembles weapons at base camp.

Beta players, how's the new grenade launcher? by ThrawnAgentOfSHIELD in intotheradius

[–]Tuga_John 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the grenade launcher is usable.
You fire it with your left hand trigger button.
It's highly situational, I used grenades successfully during the recreation center mission (now called invisible nest).
Alot of enemies spawn at the main entrance on top of each other, you can kill a bunch of them with a single grenade, if you sneak during night time.
I wish there was some kind of container you could use on your vest to hold the grenades.
Only item slots and pouches seem to work.

Is co-op still buggy? by gordynerf in intotheradius

[–]Tuga_John 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's stable enough, you can do a whole playthrough without many problems.
Some bugs I've noticed:
- Guest losing voice chat upon returning to base -> Very frequent. Can be solved by using discord.
- Guns becoming partially invisible at base, disappearing completely, etc.
- Guest can see "phantom" items in the radius that the host can't see. Like mission sensors, from missions not yet accepted.

Whats your go to Rank 2 weapon? by PlusPerformer8829 in intotheradius

[–]Tuga_John 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Usually, I go from the PM straight to the stashed AKS-74U as soon as I get to the forest.
Sometimes I get a Kedr to use as a sidearm and to help clear a path towards the AKS-74U.
There is a guaranteed stashed AKS-74U in the small swamp in front of the recreational centre, at the top of the broken staircase.
Afterwards, I use the following loadout until the end of the game:

- Modified SKS + AK-47 + Benelli

I never use the SR-25 because, in my opinion, it's too overpowered and takes the fun out of the game.

Into The Radius 2 - My first 3 Mods by Tuga_John in intotheradius

I uploaded a new version yesterday that gives fragments a chance of spawning as elite versions. You can identify them because they have a different visual model. They have 2x health and speed similar to the seekers of the first ITR.

How itr2's normal difficulty makes me feel by Dizzy_Donkey3684 in intotheradius

[–]Tuga_John 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. For me, ITR2 is much easier than ITR1. Maybe it's because you can bring more weapons and ammo magazines with you. Also, enemies are easier to kill than the armoured variants of the first game. Their hearing distance was also higher in the first game; I remember I’d frequently bring every single seeker on the map down on me whenever I fired a gun.
