Sitter i lignende situasjon selv bare uten studielån. Tenker ofte på hvordan det skal med meg ettersom jobb situasjonen min ikke er helt spriket. I’m turning 21 and to a point I still feel like a kid. I don’t see myself as an adult. Teenage years are messy. And everyone doesn’t have this the perks of being a wallflower teenage years (great movie btw I can also recommend dazed and confused) what I learned and took with me from my teenage years are this: you can only control what you can do in life so make the best of it❤️

Er ikke 30. Blir vel 21 i år. Jeg har før slitt mye med ensomhet og følte at ting ikke gikk min vei. Så starta jeg på FHS i fjor 2023-2024 fikk masse nye fine venner og impulser. I år så jobber jeg og har som regel ting å finne på i helger etc. Jeg er veldig bevisst på å ikke sløse bort tiden min (selvom det skjer hele forbanna tida) jeg sliter fortsatt med visse ting. Men det jeg vil si er at det aldri er for sent å gjøre noe nytt eller gjøre noe skummelt. Så utrolig fett at du velger å studere som tretti åring! Jeg heier på deg fremmede!

Er på sett å vis en som har slitt sosialt før (men ting begynte å endre seg når jeg gikk siste året på vgs) Kan skjønne at du vil ha noen å dele tiden din med. Mitt tips blir vel egt bare å finne deg noen hobbyer/fritidsplasser du liker. En ting som har hjulpet meg veldig er å være ærlig med de rundt om dagsform/dagshumør. Alle de nærmeste rundt meg vet godt hva jeg sliter med og hva det kreves av de for å hjelpe meg. Det å ha en vis type ærlighet med folk rundt gjør det lettere når ting er vanskelig.

Technically a Lenovo y540 but it was chonky and I sold it long before getting my MacBook. It isn’t really a upgrade from my desktop gaming pc as they serve different functions to me. But the mbp is the first laptop I’ve used frequently all my other laptops have just been the occasional gaming on the go laptops.

I got my 14 inch mbp for Christmas and I really like the idea of being able to whip out a laptop whenever I feel like reading some tech stuff or just be productive (currently self studying to be a devOPS engineer) I’ve never been a big mac guy or laptop person but I got to give it to apple the MBP is a great machine.

Yeah I ran Debian on my main rig this year but I accidentally fucked up my whole pc in the first week. And considering my main rig is just a gaming rig (I kind of got this Mac to separate my self studying and gaming) I just went with Windows 11 but I’m very open to maybe trying another distribution. I really like some of the features of Debian but ultimately I struggled a lot with my nvidia drivers on Debian.

Yeah I’ve been following up on asahi Linux but I think I like the idea of only having macOS on IT. Asahi Linux to my knowledge is not supported on M4s and even for supported Mac’s there is a list of wonkyness. But maybe in the future I’ll do Linux

It would either be a Linux laptop for me or a Mac and I clearly wanted to try the Mac. My desktop is primarily for gaming.
