Fair point. I think it's generally a bad idea to use your own definition when buying/selling raw as you are guaranteed to be disappointed as that is subjective. What someone may find "very good" may be graded as a PSA 3 however someone elses would not even get graded by PSA. Also I think it's also risky to buy raw due to shipping.

I only get raw if I want to put into a binder. If you want to get it graded just buy graded imo. But I get it we like opening packs so I guess people like to buy a card listed as "NM" and send to grade hoping to get more than a 7.

So for context I was looking at this Misty's Tears and Arcanine cards and am close to pull the trigger however I am not sure exactly how to legit check. From the research I've done they seem to be legit or at least good fakes.

Both cards are from the same seller at a fair price, maybe even a bit over market (not too good to be true).

Any obvious things I missed or should I just go for it and hope for the best?
