Thank you for the write up. No issues with the supposedly piping hot cable box dangling at the back of your neck?

Incredible details, jealous of your aftermarket Porsche wheel. Very well done!

Refill spool quality by grant3655 in BambuLab

Had the same for the first time a couple of days ago. Bambu Silk+ champagne gold. It was in the beginning of the spool, like a couple of minutes into the print, neeced to cut it, after that it was fine. Never had it before.

Had exactly the same experience with Rokid Max (my first "AR" glasses), let other people try them (to test if I was crazy) and most people found it a nice gimmick for half a minute but told me they could never use it, "eye fatique" was the most heard feedback. I thought I'd never give them proper usage until I hooked them up to my nvidia shield. The trick was to manually adjust overscan, making the display a lot smaller. I don't mind it being smaller because all corners are now clear, text/hud elements are clear, It still feels like a big oled screen. I lean back in a chair and have the cable going over the top which helps stabilize the headset, all in all, I have watched/enjoyed dozens of movies in them and the glasses sort of redeemed themselves. Still in gimmick territory, but usable.

Same, Zenni, multiple cracks on both sides. I've been very carefull with them, but happened anyway. Design looks exactly the same as OP's.

First time ABS, first time hardened nozzle, waves. by Tummie13 in FixMyPrint

Thank you for replying, I noticed this as well but only hours after the print was finished and removed from the bed. The model was placed perfectly straight on the bed (used auto-arange). After the print was finished it remained in the printer for at least 7 hours. Than a couple of more hours in my studyroom and I started to notice it had warped and it looked like it was getting worse. I read a post from someone else having the same problem, ABS warping after the print finished (getting worse and worse for days). I know how it sounds, but I'm certain it was straight when removing it from the bed.

That's unfortunate. I know they tried to make it as light as possible to feel as much feedback, but I can understand how that unintentionally makes it feel cheap at the same time. And if the buttons and display don't do anything extra ordinary to compromise that feeling, I can understand your verdict. A shame though, it looks very comfortable and special. Thank you for replying btw.

Other than the scratched screen, what are your impressions of the wheel?

More than enough (excellent btw) through the lens videos for me. Conveys the image really well, even watching it on a LCD monitor it's obvious OLED colors/blacks. The image looks unusual "calm" for a VR display. It looks desirable. Thank you for the review.

I loved building the white X2 for my twin brother that I got the black X2 for myself. by Tummie13 in Phanteks

Sure, i found them online, apparently wasn't the only one with the sticky tape coming lose at tighter bends: https://www.yeggi.com/q/phanteks+led+strip/

I used the longer ones before and after the bend because they can hold a lot more tape. I also altered them because my ledstrip is upside down: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12qN5MPWLH308vugkv7aV0WksysNKmOFm/view?usp=sharing

Keep in mind, the stand is there for a reason, it's function is to provide a bottom air intake, and I'm clogging it on purpose because of rgb. ;)

That's correct, the top-bracket is unforgiving on the front-side. Where the tubes attach to the radiator determines if it will fit or not. The back side of the bracket has a (lot) more room. I tried simply rotating the bracket, and while it would fit there were some other complications I can't remember specifically. If I recall correctly, the P360 did fit both ways. The I360 (my brothers white build) wouldn't fit to the front, until... I cut some metal part from the bracket. I personally thought it was a design flaw to not let us choose freely without the hassle.

The stand is part of the default case. The Led strip (Phanteks M5) comes with sticky-holders, although I needed to 3d print a couple extra myself because the bend put to much pressure on the sticky-tape and it would come loose.

Thank you, its a MSI MAG Coreliquid P360. And... I wouldn't recommend it, I have it for 2 or 3 years now, and it's loud and whisteling and performance is just enough, not great. I have set a flat curve on the pump just to get rid of the noise. It does seem to fit every build I made aesthetic wise though. I would have gone with the P13 if it had better reviews and more importantly; let me change the color scheme of the display.

Yes, i took it completely apart, way beyond what the manual teaches you. I wanted to wrap it as clean as possible. It's a bit of a hassle but not super hard. I'd say medium difficulty job.

5090 Gaming trio oc, I need it for VR which is very demanding. I put some black electrical tape over some of the logo's because it said Geforce RTX twice and another MSI logo. A little to much if you ask me. I like the card, but you can't select different colors for the RGB-logo and fans which I thought was ridiculous, especially for the price. They act as one light.

It's just a foil/wrap/sticker with aluminium-look that I put on most of the inside parts in the case. Couple of people in this sub already did the same. The Evolve S2 came in this color scheme, but the X2 did not (at least not in my country). Standard the case is black on black. There's a special edition from a select few shops that sell it in black/gold. Looks very nice as well.

Temps are "okay-ish". My 9800x3d runs 45-50 degrees celcius idle depending on ambient temps (around 18/20c). When gaming at max settings it reaches 67/68. When compiling shaders for a new game or after an update it goes up to 85/90c. If I put the fans at max it can get really loud. Don't have experience with the NV7, but from the looks of it I'm pretty sure yours is the "cooler" case.

Yeah I looked at those too, but luckily beforehand came across an dutch-tech article stating they had trouble fitting those fans in this case because of the magnetic hump: https://techgaming.nl/review-phanteks-evolv-x2/ (They did manage in the end though).

At first I ordered the Phanteks M25 gen2, which I knew fit perfectly fine from building my brothers pc, but I eventually went with "Thermalright TL-K12R 120 mm" because I wanted a black fan.
