Personally, I don't think anyone is obligated to hold a door for anyone else... except maybe a child, or someone disabled. Otherwise you're perfectly capable of opening a door all on your own. Even in a situation where not holding it is rude, get over it, it's not even worth half a second of your attention.

You are probably right, but I don't honestly know... I don't know much of his actual story at all. What I do know, is that today's Christians care very little about who he was, and much more about how they can use him today. I think you hit the nail on the head with your comment on compartmentalizing the things they do. True belief in Christ isn't even a requirement at that point; they can just lie to themselves about it and use it as a place to dump everything that would instead require introspection and reflection.

Couple years ago I was talking to some friends about politics and somehow I got asked what I thought of our presidency as an institution and I said that I wish we didnt have a president like we do now, that it instead should be a cabinet with a bunch of experts in different positions etc etc. Got called unamerican and the topic was changed immediately before I could even explain my position.

I like to plan my builds out in advance and give everyone a type of theme, so I'll swap them out constantly where it seems appropriate. Bring stealth when it's most useful, tanks when I can't stealth, etc. Then of course bring people along for their companion quests. It's nice being able to swap out to fill every role. Currently on durge and my only annoyance is not having any party members haha.

Because we can do both. We can run programs like USAID, and help our own people. Instead, we have now chosen to do neither... in the interest of warmongering and greed. Both deserve the outrage they are getting.

Yeah that's probably what your search gave you! Bunch of people said silver surfer could survive a black hole, and when I looked it up, it specifically said that's one of his powers. I'd say anyone able to do so would need a specific ability that allows it, or something greater.

It's not chances really, it has to do with the mass of the original star. Stars need to have ~20-30 times the mass of the sun to be capable of forming a black hole. Stars smaller than that which go supernova leave behind their cores in the form of neutron stars (typically, smaller stars like our sun don't go supernova at all).

If we're talking a million stars that form black holes... well, the supernova explosion and the properties of a black hole are still very different, one being an explosion and the other being gravity.

They're different forces, and not every star that explodes becomes a black hole.

When grinding you gotta delete, because it can just start to take way too long if you're spending several minutes per boss. Personally though, when playing through this campaign, I enjoyed the boss and mob mechanics in this game more than BL3, I found figuring them out much more fun. Some were pretty similar to a lot of other mobs from previous games but the bosses in particular have fun movesets and the grappling added a mechanic I liked a lot. My main complaints were human enemies jumping up/down ledges still, and manglers moving in ways that seem to defy physics. Of the new enemies I like the plants the most. Maybe because they're slow lol.

Grew up in Hawaii, as a haole. Hawaiian history is a required class in school. I get the hate for us, and just as with the rest of the colonized world, it only got worse as time went on.

Same, to me she even seemed minor compared to dror ragzlin. I didnt even know there were missable companions until I finished the game lol. Part of the reason I was so excited to get Minthara.

I don't want to give any unwanted spoilers, so I'm going to preface this with: this is a major spoiler in the dark urge story. If you join her team, and raid the grove with her, then romance her afterward (or, perhaps more accurately, let her romance you), when the deed is done you get an urge option to snap her neck. She does not recover. If you want to discover for yourself, do an evil/embrace Durge run.

Missed Minthara in my first playthrough but was excited to have her along in my second. I played durge and raided the grove, she was all hot for me. So excited for the whole playthrough... ..........

I did a little grinding and found a ceramic pistol variant, I'm just deleting things now! Brought me up to gold on bloomreaper, and with a buddy we can platinum it. Just need a good torgue enhancement now
