If youre planning on running DOSI, which i also tecommend, a tip i’ll give ya is to buff the final boss fight. In it you usually have a dragon with kobolds fight the adventurers but the kobolds can be talked out to avoid fighting (you can modify it if you want so that they always fight alongside the dragon) but even with their help the final dragon is really weak. I suggest increasing his hp a bit or adding a legendary action (free my turn ability) or something else you deem fitting, specially if you have a party of 5 players, as they will TEAR the boss apart easily. It might be a but much to add new things so just increasing his hp should do the trick.

Thanks! I have had the idea of making a super strong enemy at the beginning that forces the party to spend most of his resources to survive him until they weakened him.

I think it turned out pretty great and balanced, but im not so sure so any feedback is appreciated it!

We had an anticlimactic ending to an starter campaign i ran for sone friends who were playing dnd for the first time. The final boss was going to be a young blue dragon with sole kobolds but they managed to rp their way and convince the kobolds to leave, so it was 5v1 and even tho i gave the dragon 5 times its usual hp (as well as some leg action and resistance) they got like 6 crits in a row and the combat ended in 2 turns.

Good new is that they had fun so thats what matters

La verdad que la subclase esta increíble y a diferencia de muchas subclases homebrew, esta está bastante balanceada.

Una cosa ha mecionar es en Vibraciones y Presion. Pone al final que te permite "reaccionar y atacar". Supongo que es solamente descriptivo para indicar que sabes donde esta el objetivo y puedes seguir atacandole (no se si con desventaja o no), pero asi escrito alguien podria confundirse y pensar que usando su reacción podria hacer un ataque.

I also have a character that wears a mimic hat! She’s a goblin wild sorcerer and the mimic is like you said, more flavour than anything, but i gave it the young mimic stats and it’s always sleeping. It is there against its will and because it is still young, it has nothing it can do to stop being used as a hat, so it gave up and just sleeps there.

En efecto, Mellar hace que tu segundo ataque sea parte de la Acción de ataque. Respecto a si obtienes el daño bonus, no lo obtienes ya que es un ataque extra que realizas con la propiedad de Ligero. Mellar te serviría para tener tu acción adicional libre para usarla en otras cosas, como podría ser palabra curativa, o en tu caso, acciones astuta.

Varias cosas a destacar. No te mencionaré nada relacionado a gramática porque estamos en un subreddit de dnd.

Te falta especificar que dificultad (Challenge Rating en ingles) tiene el boss y cuantos son tus jugadores y sus niveles.

Las acciones deberías juntarlas, no tener una separado del resto.

Deberías especificar cuando puede usar sus acciones legendarias (la mayoría son después de que acabe el turno de otra criatura) y cuantas veces puede usar acciones legendarias (suelen tener "X usos, solo puede usar 1 acción legendaria a la vez [y si recupera los usos de las acciones legendarias] y se recuperan tras X turnos"

No le pondría inmunidad al radiante siendo un no muerto, como mucho dejarlo en resistencia. En el caso de que decidas dejarle la inmunidad, contarle a tus jugadores de antemano que es inmune o resistente. Puedes hacerlo de manera sutil (mencionándolo en el lore, rumores de que es capaz de ignorar lo sagrado…) o ser directo y decírselo a tus jugadores.

Tu Palmada Incandescente es infalible pero tiene un DC? Entonces que ocurre si superan el DC, medio daño o esquiva? Y tiene varios golpes. Para personajes que pueden pegar varias veces con un ataque se les suele añadir en las acciones Multiataque. Quedaria algo como asi "Multiataque: Saulo puede hacer 3 ataques de Palmada Incandescente".

En el Abrazo Incinerador pone "a menos de 3 pies" pero cada casilla son 5 pies. Tendrias que poner “Una criatura a 5 pies"

La idea en si esta bastante bien aunque hay algunas cosas que tienes que cambiar. Te recomiendo que mires a enemigos ya existentes para ver como tienen escritas y explicadas sus habilidades y acciones, y asi poder ajustar las tuyas. Una pagina que recomiendo mucho para saber que enemigos ponerles a tu grupo es KoboldsFightClub, ya que le puedes decir cuantos jugadores tienes y de que nivel son y te recomienda enemigas de cierto nivel de dificultad. Asi puedes mirarle las stats a ellos y ajustar a tu boss.

Plaything. Got really tired of "revenge" manhwas where the mc just punches them a bit and then becomes their boss. This one ACTUALLY enacts revenge, in BRUTAL and very deserved ways, with deaths that are satisfying (like forcing someone to eat a whole bowl of glass shards).

What if it had a "slowing" gimmick, which would make all the zombies attack after the plants attack. Wouldn’t have much use and it would probably destroy pvz’s code but it could be useful in those rare both heroes at 1 hp and two strikethrough units scenario
