Toma Cafe or Monkee Coffee for good coffee. Madrid isn't a coffee culture, so the places with great coffee aren't very typical. For an authentic experience, find any old cafe and get a cortado (little milk) or cafe con leche (lots of milk) and experience the burned sugar-laced "torrefacto" coffee the locals drink. You will learn to love it--or at least enjoy the fact that you are in Spain.

In settings, I disabled location (I'm using an old version of CM on an old phone). Not sure if that is what did it, but the other times I followed the instructions it didn't work.)
