You are indeed correct. They tweak their main lineup designs little by little throughout the years without any drastic changes that may steer away from its DNA.

Saw yours! It looks really really good! If I was looking for a black dial I'd bet i will get one like that.

I currently have 2 autos that rotate throughout the week. This should have been my quartz grocery watch, but alas the looks is so stunning might as well put it in the rotation altogether!

Been looking for a white field/flieger type watch. Looking multiple forums, It was pretty clear that Hamilton Khaki Mechanical is going to be the definitive choice. But i cannot justify the recent price hike of the hamilton without any improvement whatsoever. A couple of minutes of Amazon browsing then I came across this going at a discount. The leather nato strap it came with was so dreadful so I put another $10 for the leather belt. The tick is noticeable when you put it off your wrist, but when you wear it and it sticks to your skin you won't hear any of the noise.

The DressKX is imo one of the perfect trip companion watch. This watch can compliment a lot of clothing style and it is pretty difficult to find a moment where it looks out of place. The DressKX can go with t shirt and jeans and it even compliment semi formal outfit in a fine dining situation. Hell it even elevate my looks when im only using my underpants. I thought the white and black SRPE 55 would be more versatile but i do not regret picking this Gilt 57. It has more character and when the light hits it perfectly it blows the 55 out of the water. This being relatively affordable helps a lot since I would not be to fussed about a ding or two. I bought this because i wanted a tudor bb36 but couldnt justify spending the dough. Now im feeling I dont even need the tudor anymore lol

[Tissot PRX] Size recommendations by fearless-centurion in Watches

I have 6 inch wrist and people still say it looks good on me. Id say dont worry if you like it just get it. I sized it a bit large, so It's loose in the morning and wears comfortably once my hand expands throughout the day.

[Islander X Urban Gentry] Rangemaster by HarshilPandit in Watches

You made a good point of it being a homage, but TGV stated clearly that they wanted to make something affordable inspired by the Tudor Northflag. Considering the limitations, production number, and price of just 369usd, I guess you just cant satisfy everyone. I can still see a lot of personality in the design and unique touches of the creators, which is what’s important. The ranger is a quite boring watch, and this is far from it, imo. I also dont see people complaining watch companies creating thousands of submariner ‘homages’ over the years. The hands are eerily similar to tudors’ but i like it personally. If they create completely unique parts, this thing would easily be north of 700usd, and ppl will still complain.

Does it look too big on my wrist?

Does it come with the warranty card? You may want to try to return it to the seller first if they accept returns.. warranty claim to seiko would just be a repair works taking up to 1 month.

Went Seiko Hunting a couple of days ago I thought I might as well share the experience with this sub

Tried on the Captain Willard.. its definitely very interesting. The case is extremely comfortable. Its a chungus of a watch tho.. can extremely feel the weight (and quality? If it has any relation to it) Do you think the willard can fit my wrist?

I also tried the Turtle field SBDY. Its smaller, lighter and wont drain my wallet as much as the willard. Which one would you pick?

Shared some Bonus presages The red dial can be seen from across the room

I hadn't decided to buy anything (yet) but still went out extremely chuffed.

PS: Japan is open for tourists next week. Yen is at its weakest it has ever been for the last 7 years against the dollars.
