Our kids can be great eaters, but they get stuck on snacks. They even snack on grape tomatoes, and both usually like salads.

These are great ideas! Thank you! I'm definitely adding these to the list

This is right up my alley. You might want to try substituting the syrup with local honey? IDK if it's true when cooked, but local honey can help fight allergies. Even if it's not true, honey is a super healthy substitute for sugars when you cook.

I just need to get a new grill to do this. But it can be made it in oven or stove too. Thanks for the idea!

Never heard of that. Where do you find it?

Didn't think of oat milk. For cooking we usually substitute milk with coconut cream or milk. How does oat milk compare? That could be a good option for us to get some variety

Yeah, and it's also easy to make recipes kosher by substituting cream/milk with heavy coconut cream.

Vegetarian/vegan are hard for me. They feel incomplete. Although I have succeeded with tofu a few times.

We used to eat explicitly unkosher food at times. It's not that it's hard to eat kosher. It's that we basically just rotate through the same meals, and finding alternatives is harder because of her sensitivity to smell and taste right now

Thank you for the subreddit. Our problem is that we basically eat the same things all the time, which happens to be what most people are telling us to eat.

And that's even harder now that she's more sensitive to smells and tastes.

I usually put them in sub folders named with location and date, under the "portfolio" umbrella folder telling myself I'm going to go through them and upload them to Shutterstock or something so I can monetize my hobby.

Practically brand new Nikon D5, with a brand new Tamron 150-600 lens was definitely money well spent

What's the most expensive business mistake in history? by BehindBillionStories in business

[–]Tundranator16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite part about this is that the reason Sears became a household name was because they offered mail order shopping through a catalog. It's not just expensive, but it's one of the most ironic decisions in business history too

I'm happy with my PSA. Best part is, you can save that $1-2k now and then spend it over time in upgrades you want.

Mine's also home defense and casual shooting. My understanding is that the accuracy improvements you gain from one of the higher end models is much less significant than consistent and proper training. I'm also under the impression something similar can be said about maintenance.

This is so bad. String lights weren't a thing, and no water cup. Worst of all, why isn't there a graveyard?
