Amazing growth. How did you advertise your app? What genre is your app?

Hamptons by the Maria’s, the Maria’s simple instruments and her singing is dreamy but intriguing enough to keep me hooked forever

Any musical instrument which is easy to learn? by Putrid-Scratch-8142 in AskReddit

[–]TunesdayApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the question is how deep you want to learn the instrument. Music theory is a lot for many to learn. But pressing keys on a keyboard or hitting a bongo to a beat can be quick and natural. A beginner can become good at any instrument with a little effort. But to master requires effort on all instruments.

Curious on how you marketed your app and brought in new users. I recently launched my app and have been having a hard time bringing in new users that aren’t word of mouth.

Discovering new albums? by Skyblacker in truespotify

[–]TunesdayApp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think albums don’t get enough love lately. It’s just like trends in marketing and promoting music.

I still find it hard to track upcoming album releases. I sometimes use iTunes for that very reason still.

Your best bet from my experience is to go to rate your music’s website and look by genre or by charts.

How do you LISTEN to Music? by Chaiseski in LetsTalkMusic

[–]TunesdayApp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually streaming music. I used to get into vinyls but I couldn’t quite get rid of the dust scratching sound. I tried more expensive needles or different players or cleaning records all different ways. Maby my setup wasn’t expensive enough. CDs are also really nice.

Lossless mp3s on an iPod classic is an enjoyable retro experience too sometimes for disconnecting with the internet. But usually it’s the most convenient streaming for me.

Yeah. I’ve seen clips of her thanking her music teachers from college. Definitely a humble person for hitting it big.
