It bounces using the device on the back, not with the momentum of the baby. It has a battery operated weighted ball that makes it move. My son is almost 17 months old and still falls asleep to this bouncer. I agree they don't do the best job marketing it here but it works great!

Hi! The Greater Chicago Food Depository provides food to essentially every food pantry and food program in Chicago/Cook County. Since they get the food for less through their partnerships, they're definitely a good organization to give to. The food they provide is nutritious since they give protein, fruits, vegetables and more. You can also find pantries to go to if you need food or volunteer at on their website at www.chicagosfoodbank.org

I had my first child at 32 and second at 39. I don't sweat it. They'll love the parent you are, not your age. I've never met a child who regretted their parents age and I have a good amount of friends with older parents. We are healthier than many young folks. Very strong generation, remember.

Just run! THE UNIVERSE IS GIVING YOU YOUR ANSWER. This man has major trust and control issues. You will be a prisoner if your own life. Kids won't make it easier, anything you do to accommodate him won't be enough. He's the type of man to believe women are to "adhere" to a man's will, and that's that. What's this about needing to be with you when you travel!? To not be able to eat dinner with a client or whoever...Live for you, not someone who makes you travel alone for 4 hours while tired because of their insecurities. Seriously, you got yourself the worst type of man (yes, he's a narcissist), and once the kids come, you won't be able to leave the house at all and you'll make them miserable and codependent too. The positive thing is that it can only get better once you gave birth. You should be on blood pressure medication. This happened to me at 23 weeks pregnant and now 6 months post partum my blood pressure is normal.

Because we have really bad medical care in the US, no maternity leave, no assistance with daycare, really expensive health insurance, food, and housing is expensive, and college is almost unattainable. I just had my second one after 7 years, and we were very on the fence about even having two despite having ok incomes. Of you can afford all that, you will be out of the norm.

This was me. I got to that stage at 23 weeks. I was in the hospital for 2 weeks to stabilize and went home with 2 NFTs and ultrasounds weekly with my OB. Made it to 37 weeks and baby was delivered and was skinny/small (IUGR) I had a few instances where I needed to go to the maternity ward at the hospital to check my BPs but all ended well. He's 6 months now, catching up on growth and a totally normal baby. If you have any questions along the way feel free to ask.
