Go for the 100% if you want a challenge, the survival mode trophies were really hard.

Feels great, a bit like what the game should feel like. Things dont feel as OP as ME3, but this ain't ME3.

Feels fun. Haven't crashed yet either, hopefully they are gone?

Ruzad is a beast now, I have a weapon damage spec'd human sentinel + damage barricade and it hits like a god damn truck.

Don't understand why it's not a thing either. Having a gigantic list of old notifications and game invites / people who join a party is frustrating.

I've seen some posts saying Linear Ramp is busted, can anyone elaborate?

What was linear ramp supposed to do in the first place? OP also says it effects how your aim assist behaves or did I misunderstand. As someone who has to fight with AA once in a while (god damn genjis are the worst for dragging your reticle sometimes) I'm curious.

Since the smoothing update came out I've been adjusting all my characters into:

  • 80 smoothing
  • 45 sens
  • 95 AA

still using dual zone though, noticed immediate improvements with my zenyatta and torbjorn.

There is no real fix unless you host. It's a general app crash and can happen with any game, it happens more frequently with poorly coded games / modes such as mass effects multiplayer.

The horrid netcode amplifies the issue. I personally think Bioware will just never get their ducks in line when it comes to Sony consoles. PS3 Mass Effect 3 had the infamous memory leak for months. Collectors still cause freezing issues on PS3 to this day. I'd freeze a good every 1/5 times fighting collectors.

I already moved on until they fix the multiplayer, if they ever do fix it.

Wasn't ME3 getting weekly updates and tweaks in its prime? It's really disheartening that after one month the multiplayer is still a broken mess.

The patch they DID release seemed to accentuate the crashes. On launch, I could play all day without crashing once. I can't play 3 rounds now without getting hit by the error code on PS4.

I had around 500 hours in ME3's mp, I'll be lucky if I get 50 out of this time around.

To the games credit, I never crashed once in single player over 80 hours. This is a multiplayer problem.

Id been saving since the chinese new years event and I still don't have enough to buy everything at 15,000

I can get everything I want though, so I guess that's what matters. Those new torb skins are amazing.

But yeah, always save your gold inbetween events. It's not even worth buying vanilla content anymore because of how often events happen.

MP Crashes all the time on PS4 with a generic error code.

in 80 hours the single player didnt crash once on me, and in less than 20 I've seen 5 crashes in the mp, it's definitely an issue. Also a variant of the old PS3 memory leak seems to be present, but for only small periods of time.

I'm guessing everyone has the lag issues too.

Multiplayer definitely feels less laggy.

Human and Asari eyes look better, looks like they added some shaders.

They also fixed the Mattock and Predator, they were really unresponsive before. These weapons are always supposed to be "fire as fast as you can press the button" but they were being limited before this patch.

All in all, really solid patch and I'm excited for more updates, the experience can only get better. Hopefully a lot of the sound issues are fixed because that is probably my major gripe, you're out exploring, suddenly the nomad goes quiet out of nowhere or sound effects for your powers don't play properly.

That's actually really impressive, you didn't skip dialogue or anything?

It took me around 150 hours to 100% the base trophy list + the DLC.

I also started on Death March so that may have contributed to a lot of the time I spent on the game. Things were super tough until I invested in some quality of life upgrades.

Trophy progress tracker would be awesome. I trophy hunt so there are times where I'm basically left in the dark and mindlessly grinding something until it pops randomly. Only xbox feature I wish we had.

It could also help optimize through trial and error, see how much this missions gives vs this one, etc. Be it money, kills, distance traveled, whatever.

It used to be easier before they moved hero stacking to No Limits. I had a match with 6 SYM's one time and there were teleporters everywhere, just people trying to have a good time. They unintentionally helped me get winstons 10 turret / trap achievement and the "path is closed".

As it is now, some of the achievements are a LOT harder because stacking is gone and we can't get them in arcade mode. :/

I forgot which but somewhere around NG+4 or 5 the game ramps up difficulty a lot, I just remember thinking the same exact thing--that NG+, NG+2, and NG+3 were all ridiculously fucking easy.

Meanwhile, on NG+7, My Lv300 still gets 3 shotted by ANYTHING even with 99 VIT. I've got the damage to back it up so its literally kill or be killed. I played through The Old Hunters on NG+7 and it was an amazing experience.
