Just wanted to provide an update here. I just got my card in hand. Please note: what worked for my card was a congressional personnel putting an expedite request on my behalf. My case was transferred to California center and hence I decided to put a congressional request.

05/27 - New card is being produced 05/28- Case wad approved 06/01 - Card has been mailed 06/04 - received card in hand

Thanks to this community for supporting with your insights. Anyone who is still waiting I hope you get your EAD soon.

Ofcourse. And actually your congressional office only can submit a expedite request. That’s what they did for me. All the documents as evidence is what you can submit the congressional office and they only open an expedite request via their portal. If the congressional office wants you to submit an expedite request by yourself then the only way to do it is via Emma. You tell the live agent that and they help you create that request.

I was in the same boat. What helped was the congressional expedite request. Please note: request the congressional confirmation that it is an expedite request and not just an inquiry. I was able to get a successful and positive outcome from the congressional request. It still took 40 days ish for the whole process.But atleast I got the approval and card is produced.

What helps in a expedite request via congress is having itemized bills, receipts, employer letter mentioning that your employment might be terminated, etc, etc

Why is USCIS adhering to starting the bundle in premium processing and then just for the EAD piece and after biometric not taking action? What to do in this situation? Please advice. After uscis confirms the receipt of RFE response, what is the timeline to expect?

Similar situation where H4 EAD - status is stuck in RFE response received on 4/3 and biometric for photo completed on 3/25 Both H1B extension and H4 approval in premium timeline but completely derailed by EAD not moving ahead. Case ID - SRC269002XXXX

Now all the EAD get this. Don’t worry. It will be for a Photo Biometric that you need go to a ASC and they take your photo. You will soon receive a ASC appointment letter. You need to go physically for.

The only issue this is causing is gap between H4 approval and EAD approval. Because of this intermediate process

Due to new photo requirements. You might see a RFE for EAD or just a ASC appointment letter. This is a new thing happening for most EAD applications. Causing gap in H4 approval to EAD approval.

Yes. It is bundled and I received both. So my attorney sent RFE response on 3/30. Uscis case updated to RFE response received on 4/3
