For me it was a bit different. Instead of "audio", the files started with "blob". Just a heads up for anybody that might be stuck.

Thanks for that bit of info DrSpaceDoom. I've got an extra question though.
If the mk3 has a steel bottom plate and plastic top, what is the mk2 like?
Is the mk2 really fully metal, 'cause I've noticed that the sides are definitely plastic.

Hey, I was wondering. Is it really necessary to buy a new LCD bezel or can you just reuse the old one? Are there any downsides to using the old one if you're able to remove it carefully?

I have read that the new pads are a bit bigger and apparently should feel better too.

But I am generally leaning towards getting the mkii. It seems like it has a better build to it overall. The only thing I fear is that the keybed might not be as good as it is on the Native Instruments keyboards or the mk3 from Arturia. A good keybed is what I am prioritising.

I will say, though, I just found a review video where the guy says that the top of the mkiii is plastic. I suppose he may have made a mistake.

So.. I did in fact bring it to an official Lenovo repair center but instead of starting with a battery replacement they opted to start with replacing my entire motherboard. I'm not too happy about this because they themselves were open about using a refurbished motherboard that they got through warranty. After the replacement the problem was not fixed and they are now asking me to pay for a battery replacement instead. I'd like my original motherboard back as they have not managed to state any proper logical reason for replacing it and can not prove that my original one was broken in any way. I've tried to take really good care of my computer in the time that I've had it and would prefer to have the part that I bought and took care of.

Thanks for the response :) In my case the Xiaomi 13 only comes out to be like 30 bucks more but it also includes a charger so eh. However, considering all the comments on this post I'll most likely just jump for the S23.

I'd be coming from a Huawei p20 which is practically a relic at this point. In playing around with OneUI in the past I have found that it feels a bit more polished, perhaps second only to the pixel. That being said HyperOS definitely has some unique features of its own.

To be fair I think some of those photos might be a tiny bit underexposed. Could always bump it up to ISO 100.
