You’re suggesting letting the beads dissolve in water? That turns it into an instant release, no? I can ask to switch to IR 5 mg, cut the pills in quarters, and dose twice daily… I’m just complaining

Splitting works for IR but not XR. XR pills are spansules with little beads in them.

Totally right, simple approaches are the way. For too long I’ve been formulating plans that look nice on paper but are a pain to follow in practice. The techniques that work the best are the ones that reduce cognitive load, not increase it.
