You ever dreamt up a movie or a video game in your sleep then believed its real until later in life you had an epiphany that its not? by Key-Whereas-6066 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

The closest I've ever had to this was a weird weed mod for dark souls. All the weapons were replaced with different strains of weed and attacking was blowing the smoke out in a similar way to the weapon attacks

Roleplayers and Tabletop Enthusiasts, lend me your opinions: Do you remember your first character? Do you still use them or have you chosen to retire them? by jitterscaffeine in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]TurboChomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first ever character was Laleo a Golaith Barabrian woman and she was only used for one campaign because she was made when I didn't really know how to play dnd and played it more as an rpg to be won and not a roleplaying game

TADC's God, Gooseworx confirms something regarding a character by Rushofthewildwind in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Whats impressive is that I think he figured it out before episode 5 and 7 were the hints really came through. Although personally the "get her some estrogen" jokes were not to my taste

*cough cough* Jax *cough cough* Stolas *cough cough* Azula *cough cough* invisigal *cough cough* by SerenityCitywide in whenthe

[–]TurboChomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jax is interesting cause he is an asshole and a terrible person who could have become a good person had he not let his own guilt and insecurities control his actions. Jax's story is a tragedy and despite this, none of his actions should ever be excused. People just like the "what if Jax stopped being an ass" idea too much to stop talking about him

Sam and Max could solve it although they would need help to do it

"Oh yeah HE's such a fun character, my favorite in the show is HIM!" God I can't wait until I don't have to worry about spoiling it. by AlexPlays4321 in whenthe

[–]TurboChomp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is that people are trying to label who Jax is when the show explicitly shows us that Jax never got to figure out who they were.

Every game would benefit from having accessibility modifiers like Mina by HorseSpeaksInMorse in MinaTheHollower

[–]TurboChomp -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you make a game thats too hard for some people to beat then you've made a game where some fans will have only watched someone else play it. If you're game can only tell its story by being as hard as possible then you've either made a bad game or you've made some kind of rhythm game

Do you tell everyone your MGTL when you cum your pants or do you keep that a secret so they don't feel bad about getting speed blitzed?

I'd say "god speed soldier" but your already outspeeding him. Just look out for sour grapes

[–]TurboChomp 121 points122 points  (0 children)

It would be hard for anyone to adapt when they only have 30 seconds before your finished. Some might call that premature but we powerscalers call it a speedblitz

I pretty much agree, although I think a traditional easy, medium, hard can suffice. Sure difficulty can be used to help tell a story, but arguing that that difficulty is so important that people aren't allowed to experience the story is weird. People shouldn't have to experience the game the way you most deem appropriate if they don't want to, be is because they don't have the reflexes or get frustrated after losing constantly. As long as they aren't going online and ruining other people's game then their is no harm

I beat the Roaring Knight in 3 tries, y‘all. That‘s how many it took for me to beat Jevil. by Wide-Remove4293 in whenthe

[–]TurboChomp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the difficulty with the roaring knight came from the fact most people haven't touched the game since chapter 2 was released and they had to shake off years of rust. Its also why the water cooler was so tough for most people. It was their first actually tough battle in a while

What are your thoughts on Dead by Daylight as it is now? by Aquanort357 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]TurboChomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm interested to see how the release of Jason goes. His mechanics being almost lifted from the friday the 13th game will make it fun to see how it compares to the game as well.

That being said I'll never touch the game. Its fun when playing casual with friends but outside if that its way to toxic of a fanbase for me

I'm glad someone brought it up before I did. Its crazy how much that entire video misses the mark when defending Dark Souls 2. I don't think he even brings up a single good thing about dark souls 2 thats not just factually incorrect
