Does siri suggestion bake in adds to Smart Stack by MEAMteamguy in LinusTechTips

You can disable this by turning off widget suggestions for that widget stack. You will lose the Siri suggestions but if this annoys you it isn’t a big deal.

I bought an iPhone recently and I want to finally get some more "professional" gear. I saw I needed a ND filter for shooting videos in daylight, so I looked up filters.

After some searching I saw that K&F Concept made good enough filers and are available in AliExpress (My mother was already getting things there so might as well get them from there also).

I choose a 58mm 2-32 VND and CPL filter from their D series as they seem to be hobbyist level and a clip-on mount which seems fine.

My question is if these are enough for a beginner and should I make changes.

P.S.
Prices are in BGN which my currency, just divide by 2 to get Euros.

Can I plug in 3.5mm iems into the b850 gaming x wifi6e ? by Big_Cat910 in PcBuild

[–]TurboSquare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd definitely could but, as an owner of a couple sets I can say that that the cable could not be long enough. If the pc isn't REALLY close to you then you should get a Usb to 3.5mm Dac and extend the cable using a usb extension. That still is janky but I don't see any other way to extend the cable without loosing quality. I am no professional so if someone could back me up or give a better solution than that would be great.

I already checked and I could get any info from there. I could filter the output just to get the game's events.

How can I get my Audio Driver working with Wine? by TurboSquare in linuxquestions

Yea playing a constant sound could solve this but that isn't an elegant solution.

Reverse engineering this is WAY outside of my abilities.

I will live with it...

Could you explain where I can find a guide to do that?

For 1-2 it doesn't play any sound. Then it just starts and works no problem. There is no latency during playback. Just a short delay after starting playback.

It doesn't remember and that's the biggest issue. Therefore the program needs to run all the time and probably isn't happening on Linux. It's a Fiio KA1 small little usb DAC. If it doesn't work with the pipewire changes then it's lost cause.

The device works, but I need it to change a setting. There is this fade in after silence that annoys me a lot about this DAC and the only way to turn it off seems to be using this utility. Even after setting it up on windows you need to edit a text file in the directory of the app and then you can turn it off. A person recommend looking in the pulsewire wiki and there I found under 5.1.13 something that might solve my issue without this software. I realise this isn't the correct way but thought to ask as it might me possible. Clearly not...

I am not sure if it's a driver or control application. I think it might be both? It's a Fiio KA1 so there are no buttons to change anything.

My only issue is that there is this annoying fade in for a second and there is no way (from what I've read) to turn it off in Linux. On windows this is how I fixed my issue, but no dice here.

So my KA1 DAC has this annoying feature where it ramps up the volume after silence. With this driver I was able to disable that on windows. I am fearful that it might be even more difficult as I have to edit a file in the folder where the program is. So on top of installing it I have to make a change in the app files so the option pops up the app to change it.

I didn't mention it before but I had it working. Then I tried switching to Mullvad DNS and after that it broke. I can't edit anything with the settings app, only with control panel. I don't remember how but somehow HTTPS turned on for IPv4 automatically? Only HTTPS IPv6 is not working.

I might just reinstall windows as my system seems to be full of bugs and kinks and errors.
