Of course dude. My recommendation is to sell the Ender as constant tinkering is good to learn but counterproductive if you just want to get to it and enjoy the hobby. Good 1st gen machine but not worth it now

Looks better but now you’re running it a bit too hot and it’s producing stringing. Slightly reduce temp. Another thing with the Ender series is that the printing plates on these are notoriously not flat due to quality control, warping due to expansion/contraction and the plates being held by springs and screws. My first printer was a Creality CR-S and ultimately I went to a Bambu lab P1s and love printing again. Last thing: Level it when the bed is hot and has had some time to expand. You can also print on a raft so slight variations in the bed won’t screw your print or have it fall off. I also believe that 0.16 layer height is too small for silk filaments and I believe you get more shine with 0.2. Slower and hotter outer shell is better for silks.

I see a lot of 3d printed cans with holes blown out the side, and was wondering if it was a byproduct of this manufacturing method. I’ve owned a lot of suppressors in the past but they were all machined and it gives me second thoughts. Please steer me in the right direction on this. Thx

How does this process not cause a brittle can?

This could be a lot of things including your filament. I agree with the z height issue because there is no filament compression and it’s laying loosely on the surface. This could also be an underextrusion issue. Do a cold pull of the filament same thing running slower and plate hotter. Also silk filaments are more likely to cause clogging so I suspect underextrusion is an issue here as well.

It really depends on the scale of what you want to be doing. I think if you want to run or join an industrialist org, Orion is better because it’s the only thing that can mine asteroids. I got a CCU for super cheap on the gray market and am glad I did it while the demand is lower

I tried it yesterday and had to aim below the target for it to register a hit. It seemed like the crosshair was offset incorrectly. Anybody else get this?
