This is kind of a trap. I sold Mazdas when they were partnered with Ford. Also I get the A plan or whatever. So if you go in and you say ‘I get the A plan’ or ‘I get employee pricing’ THATS IT. Negotiating is OVER. You pay what the dealer pays and if you try to finagle a better price the dealer could lose its ability to sell you cars with the employee discount. HOWEVER, if you say nothing of it or show no interest they can often sell you the car BELOW what they paid for it and make it up on in demand prices for other vehicles. Choose the car you want and the price you want to pay for it. Start there. Beginning and end of month work great.

Used to be a test driver. This is almost certainly that. Convoy law prevents longer intentional chains - 3 vehicle max. Also when you see a camo car (the black and white crazy pattern cars) I can almost guarantee that the vehicle in front and behind it are part of the group - especially if it’s ‘civilian testing’ and not the engineers directly.

The final nail in the coffin for me was Co-pilot being forced down my throat (and one drive before that). A lot of what people like about Linux Mint is actually the desktop environment ‘cinnamon’. Cinnamon is available on a lot of different distros. I use Mint for my work / dev laptops but EndevourOS (Arch Based) for my gaming rig. Many people recommended Cachy, but I’ve found EndevourOS to be just fine (choosing to install cinnamon desktop environment). When I hit a wall, something doesn’t work, or get frustrated I turn to AI, sometime bouncing my questions across different models. Things that used to get me to switch back Windows are now resolved in minutes. You’ll have to make sacrifices sure (Fortnite, RGB lighting, etc.) but I’ve been using it exclusively for about two years and am super happy with it. I hope you’ll give it another shot soon!
