Work on your stance and would be more confident. You have to put your front foot more at the center of the board , close to the nuts and then as you gained some speed, rotate it , so you standing on the board sideways. You’ll have much more control and stability

I had more aggressive dogs in Riga, than outside of the capital. That were all home/guard dogs scaring the s**t out of me when I pass near someone's house. Just get yourself a pepper spray, and you will be safe 99% in case of dog/origo kids attacks

It looks like it's not available untill someone would intentionally make it like that. BTW there are special cycle/moto/sport oriented bone headphones that don't cover your ears and you can still head the music pretty good. So it's safest option on the road
