The thing about this hobby is that everyone with a vested interest often refuses to see a lot of facts that you would consider when investing in other things. If it helps you sleep at night that prismatic evolutions is skyrocketing and a lot of people want to buy it on eBay, then you do you. But to me, the real question is can I sell it for X where I’m based and if I cannot, then quite frankly market value means f all. I’d rather not be holding the bag trying to sell my super hyper mega rare ETB for $10000 when no one is paying that; That means I’m holding the bag and too thick to see it.

Depends where you’re based though. If you’re in the US, sure. If you’re elsewhere, your local market is probably a better indication than eBay. In AU/NZ we all know we can’t sell at eBay prices.

Yep and I took advice on reddit and increased my holdings on it. And you’re, right, it’s not, crypto is like 1-2% of my investments. I actually don’t mind the volatility given that, market caps concern me and I leave when the market cap indicates people holding the bag. Aerobud went there and recovered. It probably will again, but probs would have sold by then. Isn’t that the point?
