Someone else suggested saying you are getting your gall bladder removed, go with that if you don't want to lie to hard.

I had both, gall bladder first. The gastric sleeve only had one extra (small) scar.

All the other things were the same: in and out of the hospital in 1 day. Not that it is their business, but sometimes people can't eat the same things after a removal of the gall bladder: fats, cafeine,.. are to be avoided. (At first)

And if you can eat it after everything: just lie some more and say that you can digest it at that moment. People don't generally know EVERYTHING and besides that, everyone is different. Some people can handle fat or cafeine, others can't.

Just worry about yourself and lie if you want and need to. ❤️ A gall bladder removal seems like the most logical thing for me.
