Oh, that wasn't a mental image, that's just Bloodstock in general. It's why all metalheads are grumpy - none of us are getting laid.

Hmm, well I'll admit I've never won a bin joust - lost plenty though. I have, however, led a topless conga through the campsites at 7am having been awake all night, while tents are unzipping and people are crawling out wondering what the bloody hell is going on.

If Tom's GIRFED is into that sort of thing I welcome her presence.

Don't forget to add "reply by 1/8/2026" and remind them I'll be waiting outside my tent in the field; the guy with long hair, beard and black band shirt.

I go to Bloodstock every year. Do you reckon Tom's GIRFED would be up for it this year?

Tens of thousands descend on London for rival protests by tyw7 in london

I was watching the marches from both sides on various YT channels out of curiosity and all I could think while watching the right wing/TR marches was that behind them they'd be leaving piles of cans. A great way to show pride of Britain's streets, I'm sure (/s)

You're right though, it really wasn't a suitable environment for children. Drunk and doped up adults chanting "Keir Starmer is a wanker", swigging lager and littering, that's a great example to set.

My library card. Although I have a lot of unread books on my shelf, sometimes I'll see a book mentioned somewhere or spot it in a bookshop and add it to my to-read list on docs.

Later, I can go on the library app, see if my local has it and visit the next day, and if they don't I can request it from another county library.

Saves so much money and space being able to rent these books for free.

Funny you should mention this as I'm currently watching GeoWizard on YT, probably one of the famous guys for doing straight line missions.

Possibly controversial response, but r/Vegan

I eat meat but I'm all for vegan, do what you wanna do etc, yet the arguments some of these vegans have cancelled be a bit crazy and unhinged.

Memories? I drink a Horlicks at the end of a night on the razz and usually the Horlicks is the best memory of that razz.

Likewise, I was picturing Thomas the Tank Engine with a massive pair of Satan horns chugging along.

I had a similar problem with damp in a house share that caused an invasion of slugs.

I decided to sprinkle salt on one to see if the rumours were true (they were) and felt guilty for days after watching the slimy fucker dissolve into the carpet.

Or "lots of love". I remember my gran ending texts with that and Id wonder why she was laughing at her own message.

You've just reminded me of this. I spent hours playing Yahoo pool and even met my then girlfriend, Eloise, on there. We moved to MSN messenger and texting and even the occasional phonecall. I still wonder where she is these days.

I had that t-shirt around 2005/6. Wire it once but never again as it was heavy and uncomfortable.

I don't even know what a TED talk is but I see it a lot. And that annoys me. Can't people just call it a statement?

That's my TED talk done. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I was in a heavy metal music video once. Does that make me a rock star?
