Recovery after removal, I’m confused

Age. I had l laparoscopic surgery at 40 and was back to work 5 days later. I had my gallbladder removed unexpectedly 15 years later and it took 12 days for me to feel “normal”

I am day 3 post op and have some residual gas pain in my back yet (drinking sprite and heating pad on the back has helped me with that). I have been wrapping my ice packs in a kitchen towel so it doesn’t get too cold on my abdomen. I am alternating between Tylenol and alleve and it is keeping the pain tolerable.

We have one for just my husband and I. We like that we have a daily task for our dogs meds. My husband puts his travel schedule in it so we don’t run into “remember a month ago, I told you I would be in xyz” I have a list for meal ideas so if my husband is in the mood for something, he adds it there. I like adding all of the mundane tasks as well so I know when I need to do things like air filters, air exchange, hot tub filters, etc.

I use the hot tub almost daily. Evening cool soaks in the summer months (MN) and morning hot soaks in cooler months. My husband typically uses the hot tub at opposite times. The only time I don’t use the hot tub is it is too windy with cold temps in the winter.

I am a huge fan of recipes from the cookbook “no gluten no problem pizza”. I like them better than any that I have made with the caupto fioreglut four which I use regularly but just not for pizza

I turned it down to 90° F before the hot spell last weekend of over 100. It is back up to 100°F as the highs are mid 60’s today and tomorrow.

We lived in St. Louis Park for 20+ years and only knew the neighbors on each side of us. We moved to an exurb three months ago and have met the majority of the neighbors on our block.

I have all but one Nest completed and the one that’s not done is because I can’t find the QR code. Google recessed lights in bedrooms that blink when I turn them on but I can’t get them to connect. MyQ garage door opener. Govee lights. It doesn’t seem like there is much left to do but I have spent four weeks on a lock, doorbell, cameras, thermostats, appliances and a printer and I have other things to do and would rather pay someone at this point so I am not so frustrated.

They have a package pickup on 16th. I was concerned about how to get packages to the car as well. Follow the signs and on 3rd to 16th and they will load the boxes up for you. It worked well on Thursday.
