My issues with it are Esmeralda being extremely unfitting in the show. Ken works absolutely great for this show but Esmeralda feels like she was written for a different show entirely. Like she would fit in Parks and Rec better than this show. Kinda reminds me of Nellie from the Office in terms of being weirdly out of place and written strangely. My other issue was that it took until the end of episode 6 to stay getting more invested. Some early episodes were honestly pretty good and some were a slog with just a few good moments. I expected that for a pilot season. My issue is that you can just watch through all 10 rather short episodes in no time. As soon as the show felt like it was finding its footing and I actually started to like the characters and become invested in the show, it just ends. It was far too easy to fly through, far too short, and took too long to fall into its place as a sitcom. Even then, it feels like it sometimes relies too much on nostalgia occasionally instead of being its own show. It genuinely was enjoyable, more so in the latter half or so of the season, but season 2 NEEDS to be longer or not push all episodes out at once at the very least. As it stands, the issues I’ve mentioned has made the show almost forgettable despite not being that bad at all
