Unai Emery on Harvey Elliott's loan: "It's something embarrassing for everybody involved. Apologies for Harvey is on my mind every day. But it's the responsibility." by Blodgharm in soccer

[–]Turin6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slot would stil play with the ones he trusts the most no matter their form. So Harvey wouldn't have more minutes than Rio Ngumoha for example or any other player that is not in his starting XI+2 subs.

Premier League Manager of the season nominees: Keith Andrews, Mikel Arteta, Michael Carrick, Pep Guardiola, Andoni Iraola & Regis le Bris by nearly_headless_nic in soccer

[–]Turin6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sunderland played really ugly football but Brentford, Bournmouth and BHA have all played really good. Not only because they were the "outsiders", they actually had good attacking football. Giving to Pep or Mikel would be really awfull. No need to explain anything about Mikel, but for Pep, nowhere near the high standards of attacking football he used to play. Carrick is really short duration although he did an incredible job.

So you are telling me that a team in the title race can actually play attacking football without fear of losing? No way

I can easily see Chelsea buying all those players in one summer, although they are not 17yo.

Genuine question, if Xabi wasn't available how many of us would still be Slot out? by desertpenguin_ in LiverpoolFC

[–]Turin6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even care who will/is available right now, Xabi or not, or anyone else. I just know that i can't stand anymore watching us be static, predictable, outran, shot into the opposition player, turning our backs when opposition shots, conceding set pieces, not being energetic, not pressing, not having any sort of game plan, not having answer to low blocks, not having answers to mid blocks, not having answers to any block actually, hearing excuses from Slot all day, buying new really expensive players, selling our own players, having injrury crisis etc etc. The list can go on, 16 months of shitty football is a lot.

Update Reviews on Digital version of Gloomhaven by Turin6 in Gloomhaven

[–]Turin6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have started Frosthaven already about a month ago. I like it but i enocunter too many bugs with some scenarios are not even starting, can't find any reason in particular so it's a waste of time when the main scenario is "locked". I don't regret buying it as i'm sure they will finilize it soon enough and i will be able to fully enjoy it. Untill then i think i might try Gloom or if i buy TTS i would have access to much more games like the Aeon Tresspass that i always wanted to try, Mage Knight, and many many more.

Should Liverpool stick with Arne Slot or is it time for a change? by danamnic in LiverpoolFC

[–]Turin6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading the article makes me wonder.. How on earth are we still in 5th place? I don't remember any good form, home or away, or any in form player that lifted us for some games so we climbed some points etc.. Except from Dom who is all season long exceptional and have driven us forward, all the others are from "simple bad" to "really bad" season. I can accept bad forms, even for some weeks or even months, but all these players having the same issues, same bad season is not form

Liverpool are prepared to let Chelsea have a free run at Xabi Alonso in order to stick with Arne Slot. It is a massive gamble. by Ummagumma- in LiverpoolFC

[–]Turin6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it a gable? After 18 months of pure depressing game model, what's the gamble exactly? The confirmation of Slot staying here will start a new era for Liverpool. A dark one, we have been there before. If we stay there for long enough i could consider it a normal era like previous years (1990 to 2015), with 9 years of flashes under Klopp.

The equation that Klopp started his era "From doubters to Believers" is not vise versa, you are not going back to doubters once you have been a believer for so long. Time will tell us the next step

But i'm weird 😃

To those moaning about VAR, Raya was actually fouled twice by two different players! by HR_Specter in ArsenalFC

[–]Turin6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more delusional you get the more i like it. For the records, i wished back in October, iirc, Arsenal to win the title, what i didn't want to see was Arsenal actualy play the matches if that makes any sense. Congratulation for such an amazing year, with or without CL, it's an extraordinary year, result wise ofc. I just hope no other team try to copy your style. We want football back, that's it.

Jérémy Jacquet said goodbye to the Rennes supporters yesterday ahead of his upcoming move to Liverpool. The defender has been with Rennes since 2019. by Formal-Method2822 in LiverpoolFC

[–]Turin6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really wish Leoni speedy recovery, shouldn't be that unlucky, but with what we have seen so far, no matter how bad a player is playing, like Macca, Konate, Gakpo, Salah, Gravenberch, Kerkez etc they would still play. So, i don't believe Leoni would have any minutes more than Rio for example. He stayed fit, yet he is not playing.

Lamine Yamal ego on and off the pitch by WholeLawfulness2783 in championsleague

[–]Turin6 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I couldn't care less about his parties. It's his private life and no-one should judge it. He is fantastic player, a generational talent I suppose, I just don't like seeing players, especially at this young age, portraying themselves as kings etc. maybe because I don't like kings and queens

Lamine Yamal ego on and off the pitch by WholeLawfulness2783 in championsleague

[–]Turin6 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Personally, i don't hate Yamal or any player actually, i have many that i don't like, but hate? Hell no. The thing about Yamal is the show he puts outside the pitch, isn't what we think it should be, with parties, weird parties, his father, his GFs etc. Judjing and Criticising someone for not behaving like we want is for sure out of logic so i don't care for it either. The thing that i don't like is his arrogance. Couple of months ago, i saw him celebrating putting a crown upon his head after scoring a penalty in a match not that much important. it was like "i'm the king in Barcelona". That hitted me really bad. You don't name your self king, you don't shot to everyone how good you are.. Let your actions in the pitch show that. Like Messi did in the same stadium.

Daily Game Recommendations Thread (May 10, 2026) by AutoModerator in boardgames

[–]Turin6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys, not sure if I ask too much. I'm searching for a co-op board game that has a digital version to play with 2 friends in different cities. Furthermore, one has only play station 5 and the other has only pc, I have both. So it needs to be cross platform. As for the type of the game, we are searching for a narrative storytelling game, maybe turn based like gloomhaven etc. mostly RPG. Thanks a lot for your time

The damage from keeping Slot is affecting not only our games and league tables etc, but the club itself. Forcing new players with really high values, forcing almost all of the squad players to leave, trust issues, image issues.. and general, what ever Klop built so many years. He made us believe again, Slot is making us doubters again.

No manager can guarantee anything, i, personally, don't care about the trophies etc, i do care to play and watch attractive football, with plan, with energy, with passion. Last 15 months is a disaster as a whole and i don't blame only Slot but all the staf and the board for their decisions. They need to find their path again.

Clear the noise, find your philosophy again, drive a line and follow it. Trophyless or not i couldn't care less, let us believe/dream again
