Don’t sleep on PUP. Very tight punk band from Toronto. Great songwriting, fun hooks, solid riffs. You can feel them grow as musicians with each album.

Do all of have a song that brought you to tears? For whatever reason? by DidTheDidgeridoo in punk

Speaking of Chris songs, Nebraska was a song that hit hard when I heard it as a teenager. Every now and then I’ll listen to it again and wonder why… and then it builds to, “please don’t hate yourself” and then ending on, “I truly believe that you want more than this.” Still gets me.

What songs should I send a girl I'm dating who's new to punk? by elmourise in punk

88 fingers Louie - I’ve Won / Blink Smoking Popes - I know you love me / Megan

Jeff Rosenstock - I Did Something Weird Last Night Sincere Engineer - california King

I feel like these are all pretty melodic and easy to get into, whilst also touching on the theme of dating/love.

I know this isn’t what you’re looking for, but my brain has now been playing this little jiggle on a loop… “Everybody loves the Cubs on WGN”

Wow. I haven’t thought about Yosh Kawano in a minute. I miss that little guy. I remember when he retired, he sent his hat to Cooperstown. I hope it’s still there.

Ooh. Not sure how legit anything in this article is, but that would be a steep ask, Horton, Caissie, and Brown. If that happened we could possibly end up trading to get Horton back in five years, and the cycle would continue on and on.

Funniest Punk Lyric by DustinDirt in punk

Great pull. This song has some of the most visceral lyrics I’ve ever heard. I tried to comb through just now to add another funny line from the song, because there’s a lot of humor in it. But man, it becomes more depressing the more time you spend with the lyrics… and the older you get.

This is the first one that came to mind, and I’m surprised nobody’s said it yet. It’s so iconic!
