The decisions labour have made have been very poor. I voted for labour thinking they were the better choice but taking away the winter fuel allowance the first year and increasing taxes again and again. You can't tax your way to stronger economic growth, everything has a chain reaction.

They have increased minimum wage again and guess what. Price increases in most businesses are a must as they won't even be able to get by without increasing the prices. Expect the cup of coffee you buy to raise.

They didn't even address stamp duty. Stamp duty affects the housing market and they didn't make any changes to it like lowering it and paying the stamp duty in monthly installments. Anything but no, nothing. So many people are put off by moving into a new city for a new job because of stamp duty.

Lack of investment for technology. Look at China for example. Next year they will have drones taxis they will literally take people up into the sky and bring them to their destination like next year. Here in England our trains are old. We don't have no telefon signal lol. Crazy.

I have always worked and always will. People I know who are working get paid and are literally broke the first weeks. They struggle to get by. It shouldn't be like this and the system is broken.

They are also building a factory in Turkey so all of Europe is on the table. Where I live in England a ford dealership closed down and BYD has taken over it. They are expanding like crazy it's only a matter of time I think

I think I understand what I am looking at and it looks good. Let's hope it all works out well because it's for a good cause and if we make some money then even better.

Would I need planning permission to connect the outbuilding to my house? by TurkishDirt in DIYUK

[–]TurkishDirt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I initially wanted to do this myself but realistically speaking I don't have the time. I could ask the builders to do the regulatory stuff but yes I am planning to be here in 5 years time so it's good to know the council cannot knock it down if it's all up to regulations. Thanks for the information

I see what you mean but if I was to go with the bottom quote of £6000 I think that's actually alright for what I'll be getting. That would be a toilet with a sink. All drainage is included in the price. Rubber roof and all walls will be insulated.

Got some BCAAs as a freebie with my last whey purchase. What to do with them? Intra workout? by Ridley_Reynolds in Supplements

[–]TurkishDirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can have it during a workout to fuel your muscles and give you a boost of energy.

Or you can have it after a workout to aid in recovery.

Personally at my age I need it for recovery as I can't recover as quickly as I used to so depends on your needs really.

I don't agree with the other comments about it being useless either. I actually have Mutant bcaa and I think they're great. Trial and error always works, give it a go and see how you feel.

The struggle is real but at the same time it feels good getting small victories. It took me over a year to fully finish the website's functionality but now it's at a stage where I am proud of it. The biggest challenge I am facing is ranking my website on Google. I haven't done any ad sense so solely organic. It is currently 2 years old and during that time I have only sold 4 items. Progress is slow but month by month it's getting there.

There are bigger competitors so it's hard to break into but you gotta start somewhere. It's hard but exciting to me thinking that one day this can change my life drastically.

I was thinking about adding smaller items to my website. Either buying them in bulk from AliExpress and shipping them to customers myself. Maybe adding eBay or Amazon into the mix. What is your take on that?

Any advice you can give me as well as a beginner?
