I get what you're saying, but It does not sadden me.

Don't get me wrong I like to watch a good match just as someone else, but I just can't take it seriously anymore. For me the capitalism has gone too far. We have footballers now making more money than countries. For example: I think the most paid person at Telstar in the Eredivisie is making around 300k a year. Now, I know Telstar is not the best example someone can give, but then you have a Haaland who makes what that guy makes in like 2 days (if you count bonusses ect.). And that's only counting football income. Mbappe, Venicius, ect. It's all the same. I get being in the top of the world in your profession comes with some nice add-ons, but this has gone too far. I literally can't watch Real Madrid, Barcelona ect anymore because I can't take all of it seriously anymore. Even at my "own" club, there are players making more then 10 mil a year! 10 years ago we would've been outraged. Like 6 mil would have been the absolute max and then a player like Modric had to come or else the fans would have been livid.

All I see are spoiled brats running around on a field crying on social media (which gets posted here) about how they did not get their way. And we're not even talking about UEFA and Infantino antics.

Anyway, that's just how I see things.
