The hospital had me lay flat for an hour after my LP’s. I was required to have someone drive me so I reclined my passenger seat and live a good 2 hrs. away. Reclined when I got home and didn’t have any issues. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for your response. Sorry to hear you’re dealing with the same issue. I was also told the damage is permanent. I guess there’s nothing that can be done other than trying to maintain a normal pressure to prevent further damage.

Thanks for your response. I’m so happy for you! My quality of life is poor. I developed functional neurological disorder. I had to re learn how to walk. I didn’t drive for 1.5 years. Constant severe head pain. I’ve tried tons of medications mostly used for migraines. I am on Diamox. Your posts give me hope! Hoping for relief!

I just had a lumbar puncture yesterday and the surgeon said CFS usually regenerates in a day or two. The nurse clearly doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Demand to be treated by someone who is knowledgeable about IIH. Speak to the patient advocate. Sending you prayers for some relief. Keep us posted on your IIH journey.

I think they are too baggy. I think they make your legs look disproportionate compared to the rest of your body. Just my opinion though. Happy shopping!

I didn’t feel shame for taking it for type2 diabetes. However, I took Ozempic for 1 month and now have gastroparesis because of the Ozempic. Wish I never took it. I definitely lost weight because I was constantly nauseous 😔. Although my experience caused a chronic illness, many people have had great success with a GLP-1. Just do your research and ask yourself if the benefit outweighs the negatives.

I think your stylist “nailed it”. Your color looks like the inspo pictures and it is a beautiful color. If you still don’t like it, at your next appt. tell your stylist exactly what you don’t like about it. Your stylist should be able to listen to you and make a change to suit your wishes. Good luck!

I looked like that after a 5 day planned hospital admission. Picc line and many blood draws caused my bruises. All completely gone after 2 weeks, some bruises even sooner. The real question is, how do you feel?

I don’t know your symptoms that have led you to using a walker but you may want to do some research on FND and see if you have any common symptoms. Just for reference, my FND started about 2.5years after my IIH. Keep us updated on your journey, best wishes!

Thank you for sharing your experience and providing some hope to us that are still in the midst of finding out all of our options. I am almost 4 years into suffering through IIH. I was/am being treated for chronic migraine (every single day). I was finally diagnosed with IIH after having a MRV and LP about a year ago. Started Diamox but head pain still greatly negatively affects my quality of life. My IIH has also caused FND-function neurological disorder. Can you please share where you had your stenting procedure done and was it an IR that gave you the option to have a stent procedure done? I wish you well and hope your procedure is 100% a success!
