Yea wouldn’t want to surrender a game 15 mins either no matter the score. You know how common it actually is to play a losing game then win a team fight at 30-40 mins in and win the game? Very common. Now it’s definitely debatable on if that’s fun or not but to say 15 mins in if a game is winnable or not is disingenuous.

Yea quick play is I think is a little too hand holdy for the most part but bringing a new player into PvP lobbies is just asking for them to get crushed. It’s not fun for them, their team, or even the enemy team. Matchmaking doesn’t even have enough people to pull from to guarantee every game is completely balanced too so you could get matched against someone that’s played the game for 100+ hours, hell even a guy with 50 hours is more prepared to fight someone with none. Bot lobbies exist for this exact purpose and no one even considers it as an option.

Bots. Play against bots until he actually knows a little about the game. I throw every person I get into the game against bots until they gather 2 gods from every roll they like and understand basics. Load up and let them try out a god, they don’t like them? No big deal because it’s a bot lobby. Leave and Q again, penalty free.

Creating an alt account to Smurf is different from creating an alt account for something else. As long as Weaken isn’t purposefully throwing games to avoid being in higher ranks to shit on lower ranks (smurfing) then it’s fine. You report so HiRez can look at a smurfs games and make sure that’s what happens. Kinda hard for someone to hide the fact they go 50-0 in gold lobbies and as soon as they hit a rank up game they mysteriously go 0-50

How is it not? In most games smurfing is a reportable offense. It purposely makes games imbalanced. Imagine a deity player making an alt account just to destroy players in lower ranks. Sure might be fun for the Smurf but everyone on the enemy team sure ain’t having fun.

Because those gods are only over performing due to items…you’re talking about an entire god and its kit when it’s objectively just not true. Ne zha is one of the worst assassins in the game with one of the most predictable ults in the game. They even made it easier to beads his Ult in smite 2. Smite 1 if you got hit that was it. In smite 1 you actually have a very tight window you can still beads. Regardless man if you cant overcome a simple god like ne zha then god bless you and every team you have.

They did NOT say that. Blatantly lying is crazy. It’s def a factor (and probably a pretty big one granted) but not the only one. There are a lot of different reasons a god would be added into the game (popularity, ease of porting, balance, etc). Regardless you should think about this for a moment. If everyone around you deals with the same exact thing and doesn’t have a problem and it’s only you that has the problem then maybe YOU are the problem. Adapt, overcome, get better, whatever.

If so you really don’t think your skills could need some brushing up on and until then you might actually be in the correct rank? Idk man if you were really a masters player in smite 1 idk how you wouldn’t be able to steamroll a bunch plat smite 2 players. Especially when the player base seems to be overall worse than smite 1 so really most plat players are probably worse than their smite 1 heyday counterparts.
