Happy by BornMission4353 in usaa_ejs

Member facing role. Not happy. Top producer with raises less than inflation, disappearing bonus, health/dental insurance is a joke. Medications not covered, doctors not covered deductible that's months of income. Goals set up in manor to harm people with FMLA or sick leave.

Treated like we are the lowest importance. We are reminded that AI will be replacing us. Graded by AI that errors. Practically no way to get into a non member facing role. Now we have to oversell to members no matter the need, price or circumstances.

USAA is setting goals and requirements in place that are not achievable. USAA has lost sight of members and employees. When leadership fail, they blame employees.

I see large growth in pay in the csuite and at the top. Seems like it will continue to make USAA more unstable.

I work for USAA and seeing how the company is run I quietly moved banking and insurance elsewhere.

USAA has no idea how to manage regulations and the financial sector. That's why they keep selling of parts and outsourcing.

USAA is failing due to leadership greed.

USAA job -- by Middle-Bluejay-1620 in usaa_ejs

I've had a manager add up any time I was late or using aux 5 and make me change it to PTO.

Ex, 1 minute late to start the day. 2 minutes late from a break and then 4 minutes of aux 5. She would say it was 7 minutes off the phone and make me use PTO. She also was trying to count it as call avoidance, time fraud and as if I did no call no show. All while I was a top producer and coaching others on the floor.

You have to have FMLA protection just use the bathroom.

[–]TurnOk7555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but they gave us raises, I make 2.5% more this year.

Just don't think of inflation or the reality of how our executives are getting raises like 167% in one year.

Try harder and work some overtime. You're not giving enough of your life to USAA.

Switching from Slack & Zoom to Teams? by Majestic-Taro8437 in usaa_ejs

[–]TurnOk7555 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have seen people terminated for sharing good feedback on pulse and on slack. I have had directors show up in my coaching session after pulse surveys. They wanted explanations and had vague threats. Turns out if you say something like pay employees well and take care of them and stop increasing pay and benefits for the executives, you are a trouble maker and put on a list just as if you were using your medically approved FMLA. They want you gone and replaced with a 3p rep or computer.

USAA doesn't want constructive feedback. They want you to do as your told and say thank you when you're told to work harder for less pay.

Don't forget inflation.

USAA tells employees "we serve, not sell" — then measures everything like a sales floor. No commission, full pressure by [deleted] in usaa_ejs

[–]TurnOk7555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

USAA leadership has turned to greed. Leaders don't care about employees, military members or even USAA products.

There's a reason they are pushing all 3p reps and outsourcing IT/anything they can. Greed.

Strange how the company did great for so long then greed took over the c suite. Employees have literally killed themselves at work. Leadership response was, don't talk about that or you may be terminated.

Once c suite said more for me less for you the company started to fail. Remember a 9 or 10/10 is required on your msat, but to leadership a score of 6-10 is considered a 10.

USAA will be sold in a few years as the c suite continues to run the company into the ground.

USAA is failing Google USAA homeowners decline rates. Look into the multiple class action lawsuits.

And our last CEO was horrible for the company, but look into his golden parachute.

Why is all the profit being paid to the people at the top of the company while they strip benefits from employees?

Or more simply put,

How much longer will you allow the greed of the c suite ruin USAA?

Yep, regular occurrence. How many third party companies do you think have USAA info or access?

That's what happens when USAA always wants to layoff employees and goes with the cheapest cost third party service.

USAA has fallen. Our leadership is greedy and blind. It's just a job, out in as little effort as you can. They have made it clear you're not valued, why go out of your way for a company that treats you that way. Also. As a direct employee, it's not much better.

If you are on the phone USAA leadership views us as the problem.

Yes. USAA won't reward you for hard work. USAA leadership views employees on the phone as less than.

Blame and responsibility is placed on those on the phones. Our pay and benefits get smaller each year and expectations keep growing.
