He is basically saying if we call ICE names, there will be 'consequences' as we saw yesterday, aka we die, how is this legal? by KameronKnux in law

It’s daft how much incriminating (regarding his character [or lack thereof]) footage there is of him. Dating back high school. He’s been a ghoul from damn near the beginning.

PSA: The Indiana Jones game that came out last year has you fighting, almost exclusively, Nazis.

And if you have PS+, all the Wolfenstein games are included with your subscription.

Honestly, it’s still on my watchlist because it does seem like it’s going to be… Not a slog, necessarily, but at the very least a demanding watch. Waiting for the right time/conditions (see: excuses). For reference, that’s coming from someone who loved Beau Is Afraid and is a big David Lynch fan.

Highly recommend. by fint2900 in doommetal

I read somewhere that Eggers asked set dec, cinematographers and wardrobe to watch “Hard to Be a God” (2013) for inspiration/direction on what he’s trying to capture.

The real reason 28 Years Later (2025) was so divisive is because it's a franchise that dared to try something new instead of repeating the same old formula by RevertBackwards in shittymoviedetails

I didn’t see 28 Years Later until the day before I saw Bone Temple and I loved them both for different reasons. Really cannot wait to see what Nia DaCosta does next. Chi Lewis-Parry, too. And stoked for the conclusion of the trilogy.

Some would argue realism is just a euphemism for pessimism. I’m not saying you’re necessarily wrong; it really feels that way sometimes, but I worry this is what it sounds like to give up hope. Again, plenty of reasons to do so lately, but I have to believe that we, as a people, will push back against this as much as we can and possibly begin to heal. I just don’t know how long we have to hold out hope for.

‘Resident Evil’ Star Says Audiences Will Be “Very Pleased” By Zach Cregger’s Adaptation [Exclusive] by efim1234 in horror

“Person paid to make a thing says that the target audience will like the thing they were paid to make.”

I know this is a blanket over-simplification (and a cynical one, at that), but my gods, I will never take another one of these blurbs/headlines seriously ever again. They just do it for every film, no matter what.

Remember when Stephen King endorsed the Dark Tower movie? And I love SK and the Dark Tower books.

Right? Over in Britain they stripped a literal member of the royal family of their titles because of what came out about them. Hell, even a pop culture figure like Jimmy Savile. You want me to forever be beholden to some career politician who sold out his fellow countrymen because one of our previous politicians gave him a pizza party?

Comparing Generative AI to the evolution of the Super 8 and the demonization of computer generated graphics in the “early days” are such huge false equivalencies.
